Now the front page images are getting way outta hand! Way too big for a normal monitor. I'm not browsing the web on a movie screen

Sadly, I think the $130 price tag is a little too steep. Unless a handful of gold and diamonds fall out of the packaging when you open it, I will have to pass on the collector's edition. I'm not sure the game itself should be $60 either, but we'll see. That's an entirely different story. Not many games are worth $60 in the end.

Seriously... do they make monitors that can show the whole width of the current front page? I'm at 1680x1050 and its still 50% wider then my screen.

And is there not going to be a PC collector's edition? I'd likely get it if so...

As much as I don't want to give up on Tron Evolution CE, I think Silver's right in this instance (I was talking to him on IRC about it); he feels that the lightcycle isn't really worth it.

And I was trying to understand the description of the packing on Gamestop's site:

"The collector’s edition will be packaged in a special protective casing with a drawer for the game. "

But that just got so confusing-- so I'm just going to end up getting the regular PS3 version of Tron Evolution and the PS3 Tron controller. I really can't justify a lightcycle

Flynn's is 2nd Generation LC, and the only one of it's kind. The ones seen in Tron Legacy will be 6th Generation.

I'd guess Evolution will feature 4th or 5th Generation cycles. I don't think they've been too specific. It could be that we'll see all the cycles up to 6th gen, considering that the digital world didn't really change at all since Kevin was trapped in there in 1989.

One thing though. Is'nt the Wii supposed to have a collector's edition as well? There's got to be a typo error on GameStop's page if the Wii is excluded. It makes no sense for Disney to offer special edition packs for Tron:Evolution for PS-3 and XBox 360 while leaving Wii out of it.

It's just not right.

At $130 this is fools gold. Don't think for a moment there won't be alternate sources of quality lightcycle models. If you think there will not be a quality lightcycle model for less then $70 bucks then go ahead ($60 game + $70 model and cardboard stand).

apparently, judging by a few posts in the thread, there are those who somehow missed the picture on the front page and/or a link someone posted earlier so:

No, it's not a mistake. Wii and PC always get second-rate treatment by game publishers these days. Sad but true.

Normally I'd be angry about it, but I think the Collector's Edition is a huge rip-off at $130. Maybe if it was more reasonable at something like $80 I'd be interested, and would be pissed off at having to buy two versions if I wanted to get everything.

But I just can't see the value in it. Like ChessMess said, you can probably buy the game plus a Light Cycle model for far less than the CE if you're willing to forego the stand/case.

The lightcycle lights up and is made by Sideshow Collectibles. They do not make cheesy or cheap products. The price point is accurate for a Sideshow piece. It seems like a lot because it's bundled together with the game, but I guarantee that if Sideshow offered this lightcycle by itself on their site for $60-$70 it would sell out.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Not really fond of the design of the 4th Gen LC that comes with game in the LE, and that price is a tad high. I think I'll just get the Wii remote and *if* my PC can run it; the PC version of the game.

If it's anything like the Universal Monster mini busts and Santi w/ bomb statue DVD pack-ins, there may be some of these LC's for sale directly from Sideshow, though they may be more than $70. But based on the promo pic, the scale looks to be small (cycle not much longer than the X-Box game case is tall), which means what, 1/12th scale? At $70, that's pushing it. Ever since their Star Wars line debuted (a.k.a. their license to print $$), prices on nearly all of Sideshow's lines have increased. Five years ago, this would probably have been $50.

One thing that does worry me is SSC's quality. I haven't purchased anything but 1/6th figs from them in a while, but both my Vader and Obi-Wan premium formats had issues that $300 items should NOT have.

I'll probably go against my better judgement and get the set anyway.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online
