Yep. I played Tron the arcade game that's on the Tron Killer AP GBA game several times today.

I think I may re-watch the movie tonight.

Thank you for the reminder, Dave! I didn't realize today was the original release date.

I was 11 years old when I saw it in the theaters that summer...

And I can honestly say it changed the course of my life!

Like Shadow, I think I'm going to watch TRON again tonight in honor of it's release date.

Cam, I'll toast to that! LONG LIVE TRON!

Wow! It's amazing that 28 - nearly three decades ago, that this movie was released with such great use of computers that my, and younger generations, take for granted in movies now a day's. I'm so glad to have an apreaciation for the "If it wasn't for this, THAT wouldn't have existed!" qualities in things.

Happy 28 Aniversarly/Birthday, Tron!

And a game of Light Cycles sounds pretty good right now for commemoration.

Life got in the way here... Completely forgot... If I can, I'll try watching it tonight... the "action" inside FLYNN'S at least...

Congrats to you all my fellow programs!

You need to check out the COMPLETELY UNOFFICIAL TRON TIMELINE!
Meanwhile in the real world... the controller feeds the shift clock to the VRAM's video port. Each shift clock pulse causes the VRAM to deliver the next datum, in strict address order, from the shift-register to the video port... Next frame-buffer data: Who created users?

I still remember all the hype about Tron back in 1982. The press buzzing about it on Entertainment Tonight. Reading about it in Jet Magazine and Starlog. When I saw it opening weekend with my best friend at the time we were both blown away. Of course they had a TRON machine in the lobby for us to play, if we could wait through the seemingly infinite line that gathered before us. The following week I was fortunate enough to go with my father to see it again. He was rather impressed and made a beeline for the music shop for the soundtrack while I made a beeline for the toy store for a yellow lightcycle and a few action figures. Unfortunately my father is no longer living so I cannot reminisce (sp?) with him over TRON. I managed to get the electronic game and the atari knockoffs of the intellivision gamse but I never did collect all the action figures. Those were the days.

no no no... I can't believe it was that long ago.. I shan't believe it... lol...

I was only five when I went to see to movie. My mind was BLOWN... I'm serious.. I still haven't recovered. My neurons exploded into bits of blue and red.. but then something else happened, I saw the TRON arcade game.

See, this next film holds a great deal of meaning to us. So much so that this site (running since the late 90's) have kept us all together over one major love... TRON... It's been a great trip so far, and I'm looking forward to the future.

Love you guys and gals..

My sister took me to see TRON on the big screen in the Bay Area when I was 13. While it was hard for my 13 year mind to understand the movie I did love the look of the film. They did a great job of advertising TRON & all of my friends went to go see it on the big screen too.

I remember the arcade game was way popular (during our lunch hour too) for a long time at the local 7-11 we all went to. I also remember having "Adventures of TRON" for the Atari 2600 by M Network and it was a surprisingly fun game to play.

That is a great article by Jay West. I sure hope all 3 original TRON stars are at the TRON panel at Comic Con. Cindy is going to be at Comic Con and as of right now we're still waiting for word on her participating in the TRON panel or at least being there as a special guest.

It will be so sad and such a missed photo opportunity not to bring the 3 original stars together again these 28 years later. How many other times has there been a chance that all 3 (Jeff, Bruce, and Cindy) to appear together for a photo op/discuss the making of TRON? Plus, time marches on and we're all getting older. And YES LONG LIVE TRON & the 3 original stars of it!!!

I was only a few months old when the movie came out so it was something I wouldn't discover until some years later. Still, I will have to watch it again tonight and maybe play some Tron 2.0 today.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill onlineabortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion
