I'm hoping the 3.75" figures have removable helmets, like Sam and the other Light Cycle riders, so they can be displayed without it if not on their cycle. I would think figures like Quorra and Flynn would be without helmets. The few figures they've shown so far all have helmets. Guess we'll see at SDCC.

RustyMuffler Wrote:CaptainCR Wrote:why do people want 3 3/4 figures? they are soo small. and me perosnally i'm annoyed by them. seems like a cheap way toa void using alot of plastic or something (for example hasbro seems to be slowly releasing 6 inch figures but are spamming the 3 3/4 figures which have less articulation and detail -_- ) |
Me personally, I grew up with 3.75" scale (Star Wars, GI Joe, etc.) and haven't enjoyed collecting anything else since. Even in the period I was collecting McFarlane and Neca horror figures I didn't particularly like that scale and have since given them up, cool as some of them are. And I challenge your view that the 3.75" Marvel stuff isn't killer on detail and articulation when compared to the old Legends scale stuff. I bought 3 or 4 of those old Legends beasts and ended up selling all but the first two Spidey's I originally purchased due to how clunky most of them ended up being once I got them out of the package into my hands. Been plucking up just about every new 3.75" Marvel U and Iron Man 2 fig I've come across since they started them due to the level of detail and articulation. Though to be honest I'm about to get rid of that collection to my kids to make room for more Transformers and Tron. LOL!
In the end, I guess it's just down to personal taste. Another great thing about 3.75" is you can display more on a shelf versus the larger scale stuff.
Oh, and he ONLY 12" figures I would EVER consider at this point would be Hot Toys. True, the price tags take a bite, but they are the most beautiful creations ever to grace a collector's toy shelf.

i understand nostalgia and growing up with toys, and i also collect some 3 3/4 figures but IMO they are too small for thier price range and honestyl if u really compare 3 3/4 marvel figures to 6 inch marvel figures u can clearly see that the 3 3.4 figures are lacking articulation and detail. i am deeply dissapointed by the spidey figures they have now compared to some other 6 inch spidey figures.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill "You know you don't look a thing like your pictures?" |

BlueTronWarrior Wrote:bgiles73 Wrote:The absense of a 3 3/4" line with vehicles has me kind of out of it too. The 7.5" figures look nice (Hoping not all will have projecting faces), but I was hoping we would have been able to get some of the bigger vehicles too. That largere scale kind of excludes this. Also I saw that the Light Cycles come with a non-posable figure. So that leads me to think that the 7.5" figures won't be able to interact with those even. I hope they will at least have a Light Cycle for 7.5" scale figures. |
EntertainmentEarth has all of the toys up for preorder.
http://www.entertainmentearth.com/hitlist.asp?company=Spin+Master&theme=Tron&searchorder=com
They list the "basic light-up figure" assortment as being able to work with the vehicles, these have to be the 3.75" figures. The "projection figure" assortment is the 7.5" line. Also note the Recognizer playset, SWEET!!!!
This pic from TNI shows the deluxe Light Cycle with one of the 3.75" figures, you can see the articulation and detail on it. I think the cycle comes with a non possible rider that can be removed and other figures can be placed on the cycle and light up with the cycle. I wish Wheat would confirm all of this though. |
that..looks....awesome!!. i suppose if someone posted this info in the toys thread..maybe he could give us some answers. lol "You know you don't look a thing like your pictures?" |

Awesome! I'm glad to see that there will be a 3 3/4" line too. Looks like this line will have something for everybody. Now if we could just get figures from the classic movie too!

But is it just me... or does that mouse look like a program doing the dead man's float in a swimming pool?

Your not the only one qixx. Then I`ll have to a mod on ubuntu linux to make it fit all the way around for it as well. And get a distro just on that alone. to go along with the keyboard and the mouse.

I was wondering that too, but I'm thinking it's something to keep the program from getting hit/flown/knocked off the Light cycle during the games (till one crashes into a light wall). But side hits are still possible.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion |

That large round thing on the back is the thing that recognizes which figure is seated on the light cycle and changes the color accordingly.

Oh! nice! Good for when you are shy a few light cycles for the figures.
But, would that also be for the movie? I think I saw somewhere with the same style like that, though the back part isn't that big, more like an object for aerodynamics. I'll have to search through the pics and vids. |

It definitely looks like the thing on the back has been greatly enlarged on the toy. In the movie, it does seem like that back section is to complete the arc for aerodynamics. Though it does seem like it has a further function. If you think about where the rounded part falls, that's where the disc would be on the program's back. So there's probably some connection there.

Yea in every image of the actual lightcycle i've seen its smooth all the way up to the disc. That bit on the toy is unique to it. Looks...wrong. where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online
