Not crazy about the cartoony character models, but everything else looks good and the game play looks pretty fun so far.. I hope it has motion controlled disc battles.

If RETRO wasn't busy developing Donkey Kong Country Returns, I would of given a kidney for them to make a Tron Legacy First Person Action Adventure game for the Wii with Light Cycle racing battles all using precision Wii Motion Plus...

Look at Metroid Prime 3, it's gameplay is great and it's visuals are awesome and could easily be re-configured into a Tron Legacy visual style with disc throwing melee game play mechanics...

It's not a "nintendo directive"

It's LAZY developers and/or publishers with poor
pre-concieved ideas about Nintendo console being only for "kid friendly games" when the console is for *everybody* young, teen, adult and even elderly.

And it's the often the developer not bothering to push the hardware full capabilties, and don't bother the develop a really good art style or polish up the game's art style & design and visual quality overall.

Look at Monster Hunter Tri; it's not a "kid's game", nor does it look like a realy "cartoony" kiddie game:

here's Red Steel 2, while it has stylized cell-shaded visuals with it's graphic novel look,it's not really a game for young kids (you get a gun manuever where you can shot an enemy up close with the gun to his temple):

There's many others too, like No More Heroes 1&2, Mad World, Metriod Prime Trilogy... each has there own art style and yet don't look overly cartoony or "kiddie"...

They did the same thing with Ghostbusters.

PS3/360 got realistic graphics, PS2 and Wii got cartoony graphics.

I understood you. I was only presenting evidence and expressing my point of view, that's all.

In my opinion, only two things have ever appropriately used the cartoon style and those are The Incredibles and Team Fortress 2. I know why they're using the cartoon style on the Wii version, it's just that it bugs me. Call of Duty isn't cartoonized whenever it's ported to the Wii, why does everything else have to be?

It's quite relieving, though to see that the cartoon style has been kept to a minimum. The TRON world looks very similar to the one seen in the 360/PS3/PC versions, just lower poly. Much of the gameplay seems to be there, and that's all that really matters to me.
