Question one... Why are there such odd ball comments in this thread? o0 (unless it's some sort of code I'm not getting XP)
Question two : MAJOR theory rant... Read at your disgrestion. SPOILER... Mouse Over To Read: Could it be possible, that Clu 2.0 could be an accidental refurb of the MCP? (yeah, we know he's not a good guy {according to the trailor})
I mean, the first Clu was intagrated into the MCP, by the MCP. It could be that when Flynn came back to the real world, that after he became one of the top execs for ENCOM, he could have found all the data that the MCP gathered and stored in who knows how vast a Memory storage (possibly hinting to how he could drasticly change the world, but that's just my theory). The MCP, in a sense, was like a virus/trojan/what-have-you infiltrating into systems and gaining who knows what knowledge, the Pentagon mention from the MCP, for example. Who knows what kind of classified info they have.
Also, the MCP was Sadistic in taking other programs and forcing them to play games to the derezzolution, or incorperating them into itself if the programs still sided with the users. Clu 2.0 himself stated that the games, like the lightcycles, weren't games anymore to at least him.

But, this is just all my theories on betrayel I have to offer.
I sure can't think of Alan or Tron as the badguys, plus Alan IS the head or so of ENCOM right now (From what I read searching this site so far..) so I don't think he would be complaining much of his status. And yes, the Clu 2.0 was already evil was brought up, but what if that is what happened?

My theory (which may or may not apply to just the graphic novel, but the movie and game, as well):
SPOILER... Mouse Over To Read:Flynn was moving Clu back and forth between his arcade computer and his Encom work computer. Someone stole Clu when Flynn wouldn't have noticed and changed his code to make him some power-crazed totalitarian freak. Upon putting this "corrupted" Clu back on his arcade server, Clu decides that he doesn't want some higher deity telling him what to do, so he digitizes Flynn and imprisons him. Could be quite possibly old news to you all, since it is a few months old. There also isn't any new posts on there, from what I saw, so I don't know how "reliable" this material is anymore.
(I haven't realized how much of a tron fan I was till I saw a poster baord in a movie theatre when I saw Avatar. That poster board kept comming to mind every so often when I wasn't thinking about it so often, I had to search up tron again. So I missed out on a LOT on the fandom involvement stuff. DX)[/spoiler
