Good news and bad news:
http://ps3.ign.com/articles/109/1090841p1.html
Basically:
* Movement is mostly parkour and combat system is good.
*Lightcycles move too slow and is boring. I really hope they fix this.

If the EVOLUTION light cycles are emuating the same ones in the movie, then LEGACY might be in trouble. The december release might get pushed back months while the studio redoes the LC scenes.

LOL. Ign? IGN? LOL. I trust their opinions and impressions about as far as I can throw a mountain.
Any game that isn't a mainstream series military themed FPS or high profile 3rd person action game with a massive ad campaign get the "lets nitpick every little thing and make mountains out of small bug hills" type of treatment. The hate-on for licenced games is immense as well; even if the game may be solid and probably fairly good.

16 levels probably including "Brave New World" and "Ground Zero".
Combat is combination of Parkour and Capoeira moves.
Very interesting stuff mentioned in the video
Here's hoping Daft Punk will do the music for TE.
Interesting thing I'm noticing: everyone's calling the new identity disk the "Light Disc". The toy packaging reflects that and the dude said it in the video so I making sure Tron Wiki uses these names correctly.order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

So typical of these events. Because they're console focused, they think they don't need to mention the PC version. They always take every opportunity to downplay or neglect to mention that one is coming out. I f'n hate when they do that.
If by any chance they cancel the PC version, I won't be buying. I'm not falling in the trap again of buying a console just for one game. Even if it is Tron.

Come on now, calm down people.
I'm 99.9% certain it's still coming out for PC. Site's like Gamespot, and Kotaku and other mainstream videogame sites just overly focus on the HD consoles is all.
No need to start lighting the torches and getting out the pitchforks to form a lynch mob just yet. LOL.
The graphics in terms of enviroments, vehicle design, and character design look phenominally awesome IMO. I hope the gameplay is solid and is fun overall.
I just hope my PC can run the game.... *prays* V_V

That's an understatement. I'm sick of the bias against the PC from sites like those. Hell, they're even biased against the Wii. But that's why I don't visit sites like Gamespot and Kotaku. I go to Blue's News, Voodoo Extreme, and Shacknews for my news. Where they cover ALL the platforms fairly.
What's sad is that the bias clearly extends to Disney themselves, as evidenced in that Gamespot video. And I just saw an ad for Disney's Split/Second racing game, where the PC version is not mentioned AT ALL even though it is available. Makes me sick.
That's why I'm pretty sure Tron Evolution is still on for the PC. But their attitude sucks.

I'm going to be honest with you guys.
I don't care about the PC version.
I'm 19...I don't have a job or an income and I can't afford to spend my parent's money to get the latest super-duper computer just to play a game that only one person in the household will play. Heck, we don't even have Windows 7.
Everytime I have played PC games, the games end up crashing my computer or in order not to fry my GPU, I have to put all of my graphics settings on their lowest quality.
Everytime I have tried to mod a game, I get mocked at for my mediocre attempts on other forums. I've spent countless hours working in Source SDK on Team Fortress 2 maps only to get buttheads join the test map server and be extremely rude to me and criticizing my map's quality despite all of the unbelievably hard work I've put into it. Those dudes wouldn't even get me constructive criticism.
Other than better controls, I really don't care about the PC version. I rather play the game on a HDTV with the best graphics possible, than having to worry if the game is going to be compatible with my computer or if we're going to have to sent it to CompUSA again.
I'm not saying I hate PC gaming for the sake of hating it. If I've had more better experiences with PC games, my views would be radically different (so far my only good PC game experiences have been Midtown Madness, LEGO Island, Portal and Tron 2.0 - after we had to buy another PC for the latter).
I'm just giving my opinion on PC gaming. Consoles - to me anyway - just make it so much less troublesome to enjoy a video game.
EDIT: In all honesty, I believe the guy in the interview just simply forgot to say PC. That's all.

I'm not sure what that adds to the discussion, other than you don't like gaming on a PC. Which is fair enough.

I'm really sorry to hear about that. It sucks when people ridicule something you did, for free, in the hope of giving them some enjoyment.
Believe me, I know the feeling. Over the years, after working on several maps and mods for Tron 2.0, in my personal experience it's either been an overwhelming shrug of the shoulders and a big "meh" from most, or downright nasty criticism. But the occasional thumbs up from fans one does receive, helps to make it worthwhile.
Anyhoo, my point is that when a company releases a product: promote it for every platform it's on, fer chrissakes. Deliberately leaving it out in one of their ads (Split/Second) is pretty lame, for example. And look at what's happening here: people are getting concerned that the PC version of Tron Evolution is cancelled simply because they "forgot" to mention it.
And I still think it's also sad they haven't announced a version of Tron Evolution for the Wii yet. Tron Discs + Wiimote seems like a no-brainer.

As an looong time avid gamer and very well informed Wii owner and fan of core games on the Wii, I am all to aware of the negative bias towards the Wii and PC games.
Yeah, I would get "Tron Evolution Wii edition" in a heartbreat *if* it has Motion Plus controlled Disc Battles and wiimote controlled Light Cycle racing (with the controls working like Mario Kart Wii ) would be sweet... but I highly doubt they'd do that.
Alot of 3rd party devs are lazy as heck and don't push the quality they should in terms of controls, gameplay and visuals.
Only a select few developers put in a serious effort on a Wii game in development, as in an actual high quality effort.
Such as recent released Capcom's Monster Hunter Tri, Ubisoft's Red Steel 2, and No More Heroes 2 are examples of high quality games with very good to great visuals.
But yeah. It's stinks when the PC version of a major multiplat game is "forgotten" and not mentioned...where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

And you're welcomed to your opinion, regarding computer stuff, if you read my posts about game rigs, where I spent 300-600 on a computer using parts wisely, and listing prices and stuff you'd find it's much cheaper to own a computer than you're giving credit. I'll bet if you bought 5 or 6 games for your console at full retail, you spent more than me rebuilding my computers any given year.
Just saying.
I built this one around 1-1/2 - 2 years ago, and I bought the motherboard and ram, later a 9800GTX 512, total cost - 50 mobo 100 ram 70 vid card. SO, that's cheaper than 400 dollars I would have paid for a 360, we all know what rep that has.. and the ps3 was around that price two years ago as well.
I couldn't be happier knowing I don't have to worry about cost factors, and I do alot of stuff that consoles don't, that being basically be like a PC.

I don't see them as being ill willed, and you can't take things so seriously. It's not the easiest engine to build things from scratch with.

Looking back now, I don't know why I posted that rant on PC gaming. I guess I wanted to get something off my chest, IDK.
