I don't know what happened to this site either. You'd think the people who've been here awhile would know better. The 'F' word is in 1/2 the topics now. What's going on Sinistar? While the parody is meant as a joke, it might be a little bit much for some.
Soon many youngsters will be googling "Tron" and may come across this sight and wander into this thread and other thread with adult innuendo comments, or these posts refering to Ron J., and see F-words...
I don't mind the joke, or the symbolic innuendo, or the
F-word;
but one must ask "would I want some young kids reading these posts?"
I'm just sayin'.

Lets not make this a problem. Because the problem is nonexisting. Kids understand more than we think, and pornpuns is among their "hidden wisdom".
Heck. My daughter watch Family Guy and Quagmire(spelling.?) is one of her favourittes, and she is six years old.
So.. the level of this thread.. It isnt even pg13. Its more famelyfriendly than that.
Imo: overprotection is doin more damage than a lill liberalism.
So lets have fun  And do not worry.

In my experience, if you don't get it, you never will. You're the folks teaching these kids, nice job.
Alot of people who made this site what it is, and put a ton of sweat into it are going to be let down. The new tron-sector has finally arrived and was brought in by the last people I'd imagined doing it.

I think this was absolutely hilarious.

My daughter has heard the words and said a few and knows what a couple mean. They are only words, and we explain that in the house is fine, but that in general some of these words are rude and she will get in a lot of trouble if her teachers hear it.
I deleted the monster rant that came next.
For sugary sweetness I can recommend the Pixie Hollow website at Disney, although be warned, Tinkerbell is a high-strung perfectionist and Vidia is a real bitch.

Okay, here's the deal with posting guidelines as I see it. The other admins should feel free to add their thoughts as well.
In general: yes, the admin team would like to keep Tron-Sector clean. Free of cursing, flame wars, rude or obscene content, and so on. I'm often the admin in particular, who looks out for these things. But lately I've been distracted. On top of that, we've had a huge influx of new members due to the new trailer. So it's difficult for only a couple of admins to keep up with everything.
Whether a topic or individual post will be locked or deleted depends on its intent.
If a member deliberately laces his/her post with curse words in attempt to flame another member, annoys a large number of other members, posts nonsensical gibberish, or just uses profanity for the sake of using it: an admin will take action.
In this particular case, DaveTRON posted something as a joke. His intent wasn't to piss off anyone or be rude toward other members. The only part of the image that could be considered "offensive" is the F word. If you don't know who Ron Jeremy is - and I'm betting this part of the joke will sail over most kids' heads - then you won't even get the joke or realize it could be offensive.
That, plus it's funny as hell.
