Now, for my point.
Australia's SciFi network refused to change the name to "Syfy" because, and I quote, "We will not insult the intelligence of our viewers."
So, America thinks we're all complete morons.

No, America does not think that. Bonnie Hammer, the head of SyFy Channe thinks that. To be perfectly honest most Americans are insulted by her and can't stand her either. Me mainly because she cancelled not only Farscape, and Exposure. Please do not equate Bonnie's thinking with the standards of most Americans thought. Yeah and most are from the studio "The Asylum"... which doesn't need any spotlight.
Last time I watched Sci-Fi Channel they were doing a "Make your own B-Movie" contest. So much for showing quality like Exposure. Now their wanting to encouraging bad talent. They keep that up and all the channel is going to be nothing but a dumping ground for crap sci fi television.
