That happened to me too. Gave back an IP also with "does not like recipient", "Remote host said: 550 5.1.1 : Recipient address rejected: User unknown in relay recipient table", for which the IP isn't that of flynnlives.com, how does that work? Can email be forwarded? The replied IP is pingable but not a web server apparently. I hate typing in random web sites, too many bad ones out there.

I googled that IP & message and someone thought you'd get that if you're blacklisted, but might simply be that email doesn't work? I used yahoo mail, maybe you need a real mail address - one that comes with your internet provider, anyone wanna try - sacrificing for possible Tron spam?

One thing I noticed also is that score on 'vice squad' on homeoftron.com is 230007635 and is translatable to an IP but has no web site, is owned by Xerox Corporation for a long time, which I doubt would be related to anything. It's not a subfolder on either site, or a code that you can enter in /derez. I wouldn't toy around with other peoples servers trying to figure out things. I think I'm going to let someone else see if there's anything significant left and take a break, I'm putting my pitchfork down!

Lastly I sent an email to level 3 to see what they had anything planned for holloween (ya know special DJ?) and just got a generic reply. Would seem to be a strange time to do anything Tron anyway except for a few people's costumes...

I too tried getting a response of some kind by sending emails to dozens of addresses, but I've received recepient errors only... Haven't given up, though.

I think you guys have a much better chance of figuring out this stuff if there's anything to figure out, than what i've read in other forums - where they spend most of their time saying "count me in" than actually doing anything worthwhile. So far this place is obviously at the top, but there's a lot of other people external to tron-sector who are very interested in solving things themselves - so you have a bit of competition.

If there was just one bit of clear evidence to continue... I think the best thing to do for someone who's got a summer to kill is go through a couple other ARG's to get an idea of what you could be in for. I've heard this being compared to the aforementioned Dark Night (batman), but there's a lot more than that done by this company:
- halo 2 (ilovebees)
- Microsoft's vanishing point game
- pirates of the carribbean
- xbox 360 at www.hex168.com
- mini for Wired magazine at www.hivemindcorp.com
- nine-inch-nails for 18+ people which had, what i thought was great, was when you ran a spectrogram on a sound file it actually showed either information or an image (can't remember), and also had a ton of websites that looked like nothing related to the game.

Don't wanna give anyone too much hope for an entertaining ARG, but there's a fair chance IMO.

A fish - I think of game sea. was he marooned in the game sea, and has to be found? I can't imagine what is tangled into this stuff. keep the clues coming though.

another possibility, is fish evolve from gridbugs, or whatnot. Tron could use them.

last thing I can think of, Tron's legacy code is found in the game sea.

I also wanted to say that I in fact have experienced other ARGs in the past, mainly the Ilovebees very cool ARG (it had everything!) so... I know, I know... Not really something that could help us with this one but, it's a start!
