We should all try to get together for a game of Versus.

My friend said that occasionally, when he's playing VS, there'll be a little kid on the server. When he pounces the kid (as a hunter), the kid goes berzerk and starts screaming and crying into the mic, lol.

I gotta get this game sometime, so I can say goodbye to another good 8 gigabytes of hard drive space (thanks, CoD4..). abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

I'm hoping the Versus mode fixes & changes have made it more fun and less frustrating.

I wish they hadn't patched the minigun.

It was fun to hit it and be launched hella far (as if Mr. T had thrown us)-- I hit a car and got incapacitated.

Then a friend leapt off of it and got thrown all the way into the fence and died immediately.

Oh man, that really sucks! Hope you got enough wattage for it.. You may want to invest in a UPS that compensates if your household current dips below 110, I know that will prevent it from ever happening again.

The problem was that the PSU was already degrading over time... (it was 600 something and had been in use for several years ... think a little over three.)

Could haved been capacitor or something that gave way. I had one PSU on my XT computer. It was something so simple to unsolder and doler a new component in the circuit board. I know it was not a cpacitor but one of the other components. But these days you can pick up a decent power supply at a good price. Maybe pick up a 1600watt power supply Kia? At least you won't run short of connections when you need to add new internal devices on your computer.

what type of errors are you getting?

For instance I have to manually set the path for my firewall to allow some steam games, appearently it doesn't detect some of them for some odd reason. The result is that it locks up my pc.

Suggestion: Recreate every TRON 2.0 Single Player campaign map in Hammer, then change all standard infected to Z-Lots, boomers to Rector Scripts, Tanks to FCon Monsters, Smokers to Gridbugs, and Hunters to ICPs. That'd be a sweet mod.

The error as it is: CPU usage has gone from 50 to 100% for apparently no reason. It's currently averaging 70-80% and things are slowing down a lot on the machine.

It might just be windows freaking out from the fact that I had to replace a video card that exploded. Putting in a new PSU didn't seem to fix the problem outright but rather, at best did provide a bit more speed.

So thus far, it's just either 1) Windows XP being stupid or 2) The replacement video card is freaking out the computer 3) or the other hardware really did get damaged from the explosion

If the reinstall of XP doesn't work, it's likely that I'll have to do a massive upgrade in order to be able to play games again. The computer is still functional but machine laggy when playing games, grr. (At least that means I can waste more time with PS3 and Wii in the meantime)

When in doubt reformat that partition. Not to blame anyone here. That is why I am usually on my linux partitions over here. a lot less problems with the OS when you can fix it directly. Kia if you do have to redo the partition make sure you back up your data over there first. then format and reinstall fresh.

I would start by just getting a stick of good RAM. I've seen alot of problems that occur with a bad stick, such as random types of crashes, (including "windows kills") I always check that first, and turn cache off in the system drive. Also, video RGB becoming mis-aligned, or other weirdness..

The CPU and motherboard may not be shot if there's no BSOD and random shut down.
