Your going to hate me for this Qixx Here is a nice little computer to put anywhere including your car. Only thing that you need is a flat screen that you can mount in your car, this and a keyboard/ mouse combo keyboard and a 12-120/240 volt converter with this one. It uses laptop hard drive instead of the regular size and a external cdrom for installation.

http://www.via.com.tw/en/products/embedded/artigo/ a really cool thing to have.

It looks like someone may have expanded on this wall computer a little bit. Check out this link, very Tron-like as well with the lite blue neon:

I rather like the idea of this type of case, perhaps a smaller version with 3 pc's or something would be nice. This version is actually 6 PC's:

SuperScooby when you look at it close enough there are six computers in there all of them running. It is basically a small farm server that he has there. with a flat screen. I wonder what he`s doing with that set up for. Like computing some really large numbers.

this thread brings a tear to my eye. hehehe.
I just bought the cheapest AM2 board I could find here locally, an Asus M2N-VM DVI. I have my AMD 5200+ and 7600 vcard in it, works beautifully. faster than my 590sli Foxconn(dead) lol, by like 4X. rofl!

I like the micro computer you show there Compucore, I wonder what that processor is, AMD or Intel.
sweet, that is the smallest computer I've seen!

In that link that I have provided there from VIA Its a VIA X86 CPU it's not a AMD or INtel CPU. Its a 1GHZ CPU that runs a lo cooler than the AMD or Intel CPU. PLus with that small package there I think the total watage is something like 35-40 watts in total. ANd thats including the CPU, Motherboard and a laptop hard disk in one package. There is a whole article there of what the unit has and what hard drive you can have in there with memory and what hard drive you want to use with it.

If I had the money I would probaly get maybe one or two units like that with a gig of ram which is its maximum, along with a nice chunky hard drive in there. And probably use Ubuntu Linux, XP SP2 or Windows 2003 enterprise serve on it. Since you could do something like that on a small thing like that doe serving up web pages.

Here's the datasheet on it from their website in a pdf format.

I thought the same thing as well when I had seen it listed at a local computer store as well. I think the unit is about $379 up here in Canada. ANd that is without hard disk and memory for it. If I can get one it would be great for something more practical over here for showing off to a couple of end users with Ubuntu on it.

Very cool little ITX...

Remember the car joke you made earlier? The funny thing about that is that when I heard about that tiny ITX machine, the first thought I had was 'Wounldn't it be great to have that installed in my car so that I could have internet on the fly instead of useing something lame like a phone'...

What I meant by that is driving in a neighborhood that has a non-encrypted internet access, or useing a yellow jacket to use Wal-Marts internet. The reason why behind this isn't really important... nor even conceived, but I could come up with a hundred thousand ideas for a can PC.

But... I could use it for many many different things.. even a mini arcade machine as long as the emu isn't too RAM dependent.

Very cool stuff...

My desk looks worse than yours, Qix. :P

I have papers all over it and some X-Men comics (and a random Deadpool comic, whut) in addition to my own art stuff (hey wait a minute, how long has it been since I actually drew something?) Metal Gear Solid games scattered around and I think I can see my C64 somewhere under all that...

Kia: Cool. I'm a infamous mythological perfect User.

Thats an Atari logo. A friend of mine use to work at an art shop and she made it for me..

On the bottom right, there is a logo on the door where the PC is supppose to go. It's from MP3.com. I got it back in the day when I had my music on that site. Made a little bit of money too but that was back in 1999. I had that desk for a long time and took it with me to and from every place I lived. Now it's in a room that is too small for it. I need to buy a new one.

Above the PC joystick, there is a series off books in the shelf. The tan one is one of those hollow books. I made it a few years back to hide my razors from this girl I use to date. She always took one to shave her legs..

I really don't know why I'm telling everyone this. I guess I'm just trying to waste sometime since I'm waiting on this guy who is going to buy my mustang today.

So.. Just for giggles, I'll ramble some more... lol...

Do you see the PS2 looking controller on the right? It's under the Linksys router. I broke that thing over five times and had to use some red-neck engineering to fix it. Where the D-Pad is has a screw in the center cause it broke off once. The analog joysticks were replace with the ones from a PS1.

Anyways... just some lame crap I wanted to share.. lolon line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online
