So, what did everyone think of THE DARK KNIGHT?

I thought it was f'n BRILLIANT!

It totally broke my heart and I found myself teary-eyed several times in the film, but I was also downright spooked by the Joker!

I got nervous every single time he came on screen!

What did the rest of you think? Feel free to get into spoilers as I've seen it twice now!

I loooovveeddd it. Oh, geez. Ledger was the best Joker ever in the history of The Joker! o_o

I mean, he had some good acting skillz (yes, with a z.)

It's depressing, though, that he doesn't get to be The Joker in any more Batman films. I hope they get someone at least as cool and talented as him if they feel the need to add Joker in other movies.abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

That movie = pure win
I was one of the many people in teh audience who clapped.
Joker...was...AWESOME. Heath Ledger totally deserves that Oscar.
One of my favorite parts:

There were some cool moments, the pencil trick being one of them, but as a whole I felt the movie was inconsistent; it was a few cool moments inbetween okay long stretches that took too long to get through.

Bale's Batman voice irked the bejesus out of me. Why can't Bruce Wayne get Lucius Fox to whip up a voice changer so he doesn't have to speak in that irritating growl?

When did Bruce become such a techno-wizard? In Batman Begins they didn't set him up to be the classic Batman who was a genius-level scientist in many disciplines, "the world's greatest detective", and one of the DC universe's most skilled martial artists.

This incarnation of Batman is a guy with about seven years of ninja-type training, a massive fortune, and a scientist who creates all of his nifty gear for him.

So how is it that Bruce was able to take the sonar phone technology and within what seemed like the space of a week apply it to every phone in Gotham? How did he outfox Fox? He shouldn't have been able to, and that was disappointing because it didn't fit the characterization they had created in the first movie.

Speaking of continuity, what happend to Gotham? Ok, so they've decided to use Chicago as Gotham, which is fine, but what happened to the Wayne tower with the monorail system radiating out all over the city from it? And where are the narrows that got gassed in the first movie?

Also, how did the bad-ass Bat-tank get wasted by only one hit with an RPG when it took two hits to take out a police car? The Bat-tank bashed through how many concrete walls, many of them most likely steel-reinforced, and even tossed aside a garbage truck without much effort and certainly without any damage they made the moviegoer aware of, but one RPG round did it in? I know they just needed an excuse to break out the new Bat-cycle, but that was lame-and so is the new Bat-cycle.

True, Bale's voice did sound kinda stupid to me sometimes.
I hadn't noticed that about the... I think it's called a tumbler idk... but I think they were just looking for a reason to use the Bat-cycle.
I didn't really like Batman begins, in fact I can't remember most of it.

This movie would've been sooooo much better if it wasn't for one thing:

The hype.

I don't know about anyone else here, but I tried to see this a few days after it first came out, and when I saw it it sucked. not because of the movie itself, but because the theater was full of nothing but Heath Ledger fanboys. I did end up seeing it again much later, in a much less crowded theater, and I actually liked it a lot more the second time I saw it. There are parts it drags, Bale's voice is ridiculous (my girlfriend ended up interpreting "I wanna play donkey kong" from "I don't wear hockey pads"), and the bat-pod was meh. Oh, and did anyone else seem to think it was more a Harvey Dent and Commissioner Gordon movie than a Batman movie?where to buy abortion pill http://blog.bitimpulse.com/template/default.aspx?abortion-types buy abortion pill online

Yeah, but that just means we only have to listen to the voice less...

I blame hype on the fans mostly.....

If people ignore the marketing, then we might be able to end hype for one thing.......but too many peoplle buy into it.

Hype really sucks....
