I am happy that the new Tron movie is not a remake.

Seriously, how many times do these movie remakes have to bomb until the big hollywood movie studios realize that isn't what movie going audiences want to go and see?

I was *not* impressed with the Nightmare on Elm Street remake; from what was shown of it at Comic Con, just kind of underwhelming to me.

I'm hoping the "excitement" for Alice in Wonderland will pass over the next couple months. From what I've seen of it it looks like every other Tim Burton flick, with some rather gimmicky-looking 3D effects. I'm still working on it. There's just been so much news over the last week, trying to keep up with it all has been a bit nerve wracking. There's a ton of stuff I'm sifting through, boiling it all down to its essence. I just haven't had much time to work on it all.

News has slowed down to the point where I'm finally able to make some progress on it. Once I've finished, I'll probably take that and rework it into some kind of front page article for Tron-Sector as well.

Well spotted.

Clu's Light Cycle is also damaged. Something we couldn't see before with the low quality of the bootleg trailer.

You can see it when he pulls to a stop as the two attempt a chicken race into the narrow "cave". There are "chunks" missing in the front wheel, revealing the green glow from behind. Also further back, there's scraping/cracks in the body.

I imagine the other rider's Light Cycle is also damaged, but you can't really see it because the damaged side is pretty much always facing away from your view.


EDIT: Wow. Taking another look, the damage is even more extensive than I thought.

Well, I can't play the HD versions of the test video to see everything, but I did notice he had that thing on his arm when he got off his lightcycle. I didn't think anything of it until you guys pointed it out. Pretty cool little detail there. Makes sense I guess. You have to get some kind of damage when fighting, ect.

Speaking of noticing the little things in the test footage, is it just me or does the blue program look a little like Robert Downey, Jr., even though he sounds nothing like him at the end.?
