It's like I said before, the TRON sequel in IMAX or IMAX 3D isn't a sure thing. Naturally, it would make a lot of sense for it to be shown this way. But for now, it's still not a done deal.

Well, I think everyone has contributed at one point or another. So we should thank every TRON fan who's contributed some news. Particularly Mr. Sinistar and Maxiekat, who have found a lot of things while I took my eye off the ball for a while there. Been so damn busy with all sorts of things.


@Traahn: I liked your glowing version of the Encom building. And regarding the small "e" logo, do you mean this?


It's not really a lower case "e", but more a case of the Encom logo being chopped down. As I said before, this shorthand Encom logo suspiciously reminds me of the Intel logo. And I think that was the idea.


Looks like I was right about the book cover and whose photo was on it. To quote my earlier message:

@TechFalcon and Mr. Sinistar: I took a closer look at the book, zooming in on and rotating the picture 180 degrees. Two things struck me. 1) It looks like Jeff Bridges' picture on the back of the book. I think it's Flynn's autobiography. 2) There's a picture of what appears to be a road on the front (it might also be a building, it's hard to tell for sure). Looks like it could be an homage/parody of Bill Gates' book "The Road Ahead".

Thanks for that, TRON.dll. I was actually keeping my eye on G4TV, but I managed to miss that bit about them streaming the panel.

They're referring to the Pacific Time zone. The Disney panel starts at 11:00 AM Pacific. Which is 2:00 PM Eastern Time. So the streaming starts at 1:45 PM Eastern.

The quality of the stream will probably be crap, and I don't know if they'll actually show the trailer. They'll probably just cover the speeches. And I wonder if they'll post a copy of the panel online later, or if it will be a "one time" thing.
