But I'll amend that: once we enter the computer world, the soundtrack seems to include this constant buzzing sound that's *making* everything sound distorted and clipped.

I've got pretty good speakers, so I don't imagine it's a hardware problem. Anyone else notice this?

these distorted sounds don't annoy me a lot, but I think we won't have them in movie actually, maybe just a couple)

There was a lot of concern when they rebooted Doctor Who that certain iconic things (the appearance and sounds of the TARDIS and the Daleks, for example) would change. Some of them did, some of them didn't, and some of them were tweaked slightly.

I'd wager we're going to get a derez sound that pays homage to the original without mimicking it too closely. After having watched this trailer about a million times, I'm very excited for the movie, but the look of the costumes and the fact that they have hair still doesn't sit well with me.

When I look at these characters I don't see programs, I see people in tripped out European club wear.
