Most people are aware of the viral videos out there. There's the YouTube featured videos that get a zillion hits too. In addition, there are a number of popular net video series like Ask A Ninja.

I'm not looking for anything like that.

I want to know about videos you may have come across that may not be so well known, but had something special in them you feel is worthy of checking out.

Remember a little film called TRON? No - seriously. It went no where at the box office in 1982. To this day, if you ask a new acquaintance if they liked TRON, they'll likely respond "Did I like what?" But we all saw it and loved it. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I'm pretty certain that if more people knew about TRON, they'd love it too... if they're not too busy saying crap like "the special effects look so lame... I'm off to pwn someone in Halo now..." Not picking on Halo, btw.

So what have you found out there in the vein of TRON? What have you come across, watched, really enjoyed, and then realized that almost no one else knew about it? It can be sci-fi related, artsy, funny, weird, strange, music-oriented... pretty much anything produced with creative intentions. I just want to know about some amazing video gems out there that you watched, but not a lot of other people have.

To recap, I'm not looking for the videos that already have a large audience, or have been viral, or featured on YouTube, etc. I'm not looking for webcam videos of people lip-syncing or vlogging or telling jokes. I'm not looking for caught on tape videos like pranks or people getting kicked in the balls (or anything like America's Funniest Home Videos). I'm not looking for commercial material like TV shows, theatrical movie clips, previews, reviews, etc. Nothing copyrighted (as in produced by a big studio, etc.) Well, maybe something commercial if it is relatively unknown and just too unique or weird to pass up.

I am looking for really cool videos that seem to have never registered on the radar for whatever reason. I'm looking for videos with some kind of production value - something that was planned, shot, edited, animated, or whatever. I'm looking for videos that a media artist spent time crafting.

What denotes "cool" will be a little different in everyone's opinions. I don't care if you loved it but think that no one else will. I still want to know about it.

Please just post a link to the videos - don't embed them in this thread. I only say that because too many embedded videos on one web page (like this thread) screws up my computer and they won't play.

I checked out a couple of them already. There definitely some strange and interesting videos in the bunch you posted.

Most of them are not what I had in mind though. I modified my original post a little to be more specific. I'm not looking for commercial (shown on TV or in theaters) video clips. I'm looking for well done production videos made by media artists out there - things that are not copyrighted.

If you don't mind, please take another look at my original post (again - I made changes to it to be more specific).

I do appreciate your taking the time to help me out with all your video offerings. I would love to see more if you got them - videos more like what I spelled out in my original post.

Also, please don't embed them all in this thread because it kills my old computer. Just post links to them so that only one loads in my browser at a time.

Actually... maybe on second thought, some commercial videos won't hurt. Maybe I can work them in to the formula I'm preparing.

I totally LOVE the weird stuff you posted! Oh man... I'm almost speechless. I think I will definitely use some of these in my project.
