Woah. That looked pretty sweet!

And that's saying something, cause I just watched Michale Bay's Transformers a few seconds ago!

Nazis from space. What a concept.
Didn't really like the music tho. I hope it's not what they use when it's released. Personally, I think they should go with an orchestrated soundtrack, like in the Medal of Honor games.

Oh well, lets just see if they do it right.

Probably because it's still in preproduction? I don't know.

I guess that's true.

It's probably why the American McGee's Alice movie's IMDB hasn't been updated in eons...

I think the music is nice. Gives it a Bond feel. What I've read is this film is going to be a dark comedy like Dr. Strangelove.

In space... no one can hear you Goose-Step.

Actually, this is possibly the best concept for "Alternate History" buffs I've ever heard. (No, I'm not an alternate history buff at all, but the concept is still interesting...) Although I suppose this isn't so much "Alternate History" as it is plausible science fiction. (OK, Barely plausible).

What if at the end of the war, the Nazi's - who were the only ones with any serious rocket technology, knew they were going to be hunted to the ends of the earth so left it entirely?

What if Werner Von Braun was little more than a junior engineer who worked on the early rocket experiments... And all their best engineers left with them?

The German's enjoyed a technological superiority over the allies during the war. It definately wasn't their technology that lost the war.

So the whole concept of Nazi's escaping off planet to come back and wage WW III with the world is a strange and interesting idea... What sort of technology would they have developed since living in space? What weapons would they have created?

Don't forget that the US ( definately the world leader in innovation ) has been hamstrung by it's corporate deference to a broken patent system that has choked any true innovation since the 1950's. We're still building a designing aircraft with NACA airfoils (Pre-NASA) in many cases. Corporate innovation when it does exist is so heavily bogged down with ensuring it makes huge profits and avoiding litigation that it no longer pursues new ideas at all.

Meanwhile although starved of resources and with far fewer people, the Nazi's would have continued to develop technology at a frightful pace just to survive.

Nazi's in space coming back would make a great story universe...

A little like the "Clans" in the Battletech universe I imagine.

I once read an alternate history book that centeredon the Hindenberg. A few characters where made up I think, but it was interesting.
Max Rose, big time gangster, prety much controls New York. Winn Farrow, former partner of Max, down on his luck and harbouring a grudge. Now Rose, he is working with the Nzis. He has a ring of spys that he has to pay to steal all American intelligence on rocets and bombs. Rose hen passes on this infomation to the Nazis. The Nazis have to pay Rose in order for him to pay his spies. How do they do it? The Hindenberg. The sned over millions worth of jewels, paintings, stocks, bonds, and cash. Farrow, seeing hischance, shoots a rocke at the Hindenberg and causes it to crash. This ruins max, the spies disband, we develop the Atomic Bomb first, and win the war. But what if that rocket hadn't been shot? The Hindenberg would've landed safely, Rose would've gotten his money, paid the spies, and the Nzis would continue to develop teh Atomic Bomb. Then, what if they were able to manufacture one before us? First they would bomb London. Then they would move on overseas and bomb Washington D.C. and New York.
What next? Would the Nazis take over Ameriac? Or would we fight back, and win the war anyways? Whoknows.
Now a bit of that was made up by the author, but the rest is possible.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Oh, and then there's that one game where the Nazis take over America. I think it got a pretty low rating, though.

And there's another game where the Cold War never ended and the Communists take over America.

Alternate history games are so fun.

This really has my attention. It digs into my fear and also I'm somewhat disturbed... but it really is something I have to see.

One PC game (FPS) had something based on this...

Another PC game from the old arcade format (Battle Zone) is somewhat related but it was the Soviets instead of the Germans.

I'll have to see this one..

There's no better bad guy than Nazis - except, of course, Space Nazis. And from from the Moon, no less.

Sure, Imperial Japan and the Soviet Union were extremely evil and deserved to be nuked off the planet every bit as much as Nazi Germany did. But they just didn't have the pizazz.

The Nazis were just evil made flesh and blood. That, plus the almost unrestrained development of super-cool advanced technology and a wicked fashion sense make them the ultimate bad guys.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

Actually, as far as Battlezone II, IIRC the backstory does portray the Nazis as having been the first to utilize biometal. Indeed, at the end of WWII they use it to go to the Moon and build a base from which they regroup and attack again in the 1950s. However, they are repulsed by a combined American/Soviet force which drives them off deep into the outer reaches of the solar system and apparently finishes them once and for all.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

See... I missed out on Battlezone II... It's times like this when I wished good titles like this have become abandonware and open to the public. I would search the budget bins at EB but they no longer buy or sell used PC games.... that and our store cleans their shelves of old games that are over two years old... they suck..

But Battlezone, the original, was actually even more advanced than most of us realise...

They weren't just tanks that you were shooting at - they were *stealth*tanks*...

Just look at those triangular patterns that reflect radar waves away from the receiver... Incredible technology, and years before the first stealth aircract appeared.

Anyway, I enjoyed the later Battlefield remakes... They were fun.

I wonder if game makers could use Nazi's as a way of making ultra-violent games acceptable... After all, no one seems to care what happens to Nazi's.... Not only did Bloodrayne mutilate them for her own sadistic and sexual pleasure, she incited racial anti-nazi hate against them as she dismembered them.

Yet, I don't ever recall anyone saying that Bloodrayne was a terrible or violent game, although I do recall discussing with someone which game had a better character - Bloodrayne or Heavy Metal FAKK 2.

Years before the general public was aware of the existence of stealth aircraft would be more correct.

The first purpose-built true stealth aircraft was the F-117 Night Hawk which was first flown in 1981 and first delivered in 1982. The two 60% scale prototypes, which went by the program code-name 'Have Blue', flew in the late 1970s.

I was impressed as a kid over the arcade Battlezone game but I wasn't very good at it.

The game that scared the crap out of me as a kid was 'Missile Command'.... Mainly due to the cold war and such..

Yeah, I always found the 'GAME OVER' sequence to be just a little (maybe too) creepy because it was something we were kind of assuming would happen someday, what with all the nut jobs running around thinking that just the fact that they suck air means that they're owed the same kind of stature, respect, and power that the USA earned through hard work and bloodshed. Actually, we're not out of the woods yet! Somebody must've really shook the trees hard, 'cause there are more nuts with entitlement complexes around than ever before, it seems.

On the bright side, glowing in the dark might be a useful trait...

Now, are we talking about the PC Battelzone remakes? I have the original Battelzone PC remake, but I think all of the online MP servers are down.

It was pretty neat (I particularly liked the first level the most), except for the fact that it had, like, absolutely nothing to do with the original arcade game visually and gameplay wise. abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion
