Now that Vista users can also enjoy the awesomeness of the Recognizer demo, I would like to make two announcements. I've got good news and bad news (depending on how you look at it):
Good news: The final game will have original music created by me in Mario Paint Composer. Don't worry, I'm making every effort to make it sound as insanely awesome as possible.
Bad news: I'm going to put Recognizer on hold as I work on another title I've been wanting to get started on for quite a while. I feel that this title will be a much better game to kick off Timewaster Games, which is the name I'm releasing my games under. Not too many people I know personally have heard of TRON. I think that a more original title and idea would be better to start off with. Don't worry, though! I'm going to start working with Recognizer again when I'm done, and I may even get some work done with it before I start on this new title or even while I'm working on it.
So the bad news is worse than the good news is good, I know. At least I was honest and didn't use any of that Harmonix-esque "we thought that the full functionality is yet to be realized" crap. hehe. abortion pills online abortion pill online purchase cytotec abortion

Bad news:
The webmaster of our site keeps refusing to put up the .exe for the game until I make ANOTHER .exe with the help section written out. But I don't feel like making another .exe just for a useless feature, because the tutorial level tells you how to play.
Good news:
I got an account on YoYoGames.com, so now I can upload my games to their site! I also *finally* upgraded to Gamemaker 7 and got it all registered and all.
Badder news:
My computer didn't digest a flash player update so well, so I can't do hardly anything that uses flash now. If you'd like to help, post on this topic over at LDSO:

Ok... So you might have vundo on your computer.
download.exe is a process registered as a dialler which can use your computer's telephone line to dial high cost toll numbers without your consent or knowledge. This process is a security risk and should be removed from your system.
However, it really depends which directory it was located in. If it really is vundo or a dialer (or a smitfraud), then you might want to try this out.
First you might need some tools... Here are links to what you may need.
Run these in safe mode..
VundoFix:

Smitfraud fix stuff:

... and you might want SpyBot if you don't already have it.
However, I'm very curious why your flash player isn't working. Perhaps they goofed on their update.
Oh.. and just for giggles... Try CCleaner... very useful tool. I use it almost daily..

Woah, well it's a good thing I denied access. I didn't even download anything, I have no clue how it even got on here.
Looks like Norton's gonna be scanning my system for the remainder of the day.

Alright, I searched download.exe in Windows program search. I found an application called Download. It was in the "C:/system32/Macromed/Schockwave 10" folder. Is this what I'm looking for or does Norton need to scan all day?where to buy abortion pill abortion types buy abortion pill online

I don't think there's any need for panic. There is a trojan called "download.exe", but I think you're safe in this case. I answered this over on the LDSO forum.

Yeah... I believe he is ok too. I've checked out several different reports of the 'download.exe' and there are several different ones. It seems that trojans are the common place for it.
Usually I'll always assume the worse and treat everything like vundo since it is usually difficult to remove unless you can find the right tools. Some people may have vundo on their computer (some trojans fall into this category) and never know it.
One quick thing I'd like to add... Norton may be the most popular anti-virus out there, but I truly believe they fell from grace at the end of the 90's. For an anti-virus/firewall, Norton is more of a resource hog than anything (in my opinion). I usually suggest Avira as a good choice for an anti-virus and I usually use 'Windows Firewall' since it's is always being updated and I never had any problems with it.
Of course, this is just me. Others may disagree and might have something better to suggest. I'm just putting my two cents in.. That and most of my clients are running it as a replacement for Norton... and it's free...

Oh.. since I just went back to LDSO.... TronFAQ mentioned that there is a 'download.exe' for flash... if so then you are in the clear.
I hope you can get your flash plug-ins working. |

ok.... try this...
Go to that link I posted for CCleaner and download it... Once you got it installed, click on the 'tools' button and then find and uninstall Flash.... After that is done, click on 'Cleaner' and run the scan.... after that is done, then click on 'run cleaner'... this will remove a lot of crap from your cach....
ok... after that, then click on 'Registry' and click on 'Scan for issues'. This will clean any left over 'reg' files on your computer.... but once the scan is done, click on 'Fix Selected Issues...'. It will ask you if you want to save what you are about to remove and do so. If something else isn't working right (but don't worry, it doesn't clean off anything that you are using) then you can restore all the reg files by just double clicking on it.
Ok... after that, try and reinstall the Flash player.
The whole point of this is to remove any left over crap that might be causing a conflict with the upgrade. I do this sort of thing all the time just to clean off crap on my computer...
Trivia: 'C' in 'CCleaner' means 'Crap'... so you can really call it 'Crap Cleaner'....
Oh... and you really don't have to worry about screwing anything up.... I do this all the time on mine and my client's computers and it's really safe...
