WHEN USING THE MOD BANNER please take note of this one item. It is best to copy the banner to your own web space or image account and link from it there. If you can't or don't have time to, feel free to link to it from the current URL location of it. BUT you'll probably want to remove the banner from your sig or anywhere you posted it after the voting is over. The reason is because I use that particular URL to promote my videos from time to time and all I do is overwrite the old file with a new file each time (same name, URL, etc.) because that way I don't have to change my sig manually each time. Much easier that way. Anyway, if you don' remove the banner (if using the URL on my RR web space), then it might morph in to a promo banner for one of my vids. Now, I don't mind anyone promoting my vids anywhere - in fact, I much appreciate it! Just be advised if/when the mod banner magically turns in to a video promo shortly after voting.

As I said earlier, I have the banner in my signature on the Guitar Hero community. I've also posted a blog post (to further raise my number of groupies, or community progress ) about the mod. Now here's the deal, the users who have the most blog comments gets featured as one of the top 3 rockers under the catagory "most blog comments". Now, this won't take a lot of effort, as the last time I saw that it was 3 comments. Me getting on there might spike the interest of some veiwers and cause them to look, thus leading them to go vote for the mod.

Yes, this whole thing is a "hint, hint" deal. Should I be ashamed?

I just read on ModDB that they've extended the first voting phase for the Top 100 mods, because places 90-110 are in a very tight race.
