I don't expect the kids here on the sector to know this song, if you do then kudos, but if you're at least in your mid-thirties then I'm sure you know the song. |
You know - I remember the song and I clearly remember her on the Muppet Show in the mid/late 70's performing it with a cool life-sized camel muppet. I guess the pun was that she was singing in the "sunshine" of the dessert (I mean the sandy place, not the after dinner treat in case I spelled it wrong) and the camel didn't want her to "be on her way". I looked that up on YouTube just a while ago but didn't find it there. I didn't try hard though. I'd love to see that bit again if anyone else finds it.
