I found a cool program today that will snatch images from mpgs and make animated gifs from them. It's only a trial but I made quite a few today. Some are pretty big, so I am only going to link to them. Feel free to take them and use them or make them your avatar. Just let me know what you think...

It has a 21 day trial. I did use it to make my current avatar.
Please... by all means use the spinning disc one, but I would ask for you to host it yourself, instead of just directly linking to my photobucket account. I don't have a paid account so bandwith is limited.

It's pretty slick... but I dont think it's $29 slick. I'd pay for it if it were $15, i think.

Haaaaaa! 
You assembled some pretty cool avatars with your GIF animation thing. They all looked sweet! The tank one is a bit too big for avatar use, but it's a cool sequence anyway.
I think my favorites were the fly in and the solar sailer... and the MCP and Dumpnt and Bit... ok, I think they ALL rocked!
Can't really pick a fav I guess.

Man, I've always wanted an animated gif of the Tron formation from the beginning of the movie. (That's one of the parts I always thought was pretty darn neat.  )

I tried a couple of new ones with the Creation Of Tron segment. It came out OK... but HUGE.
