I've been doing a lot of studying in our classic game history and I can't get over how many games never seem to make the cut. So lets look back on three games that just never did too well.


Phychic Taco-Man



This game was a good example of when Time Warner bought Atari and destroyed the gaming market. The sad shame behind this was that they made more carts of this game than there were 2600's sold.

Super Jody Action



For some reason, Nintendo bought the rights to Taco-Man and decided to take their chances at the franchise. Based on their failed attempt at the arcades with this game, they did try hard on changing the game elements enough in hopes that could make a profit. Rumor has it that if it wasn't for the success of the NES and Super Mario Bros. then Nintendo may would have filed for Chapter 11.

Jody's Taco Quest



Konami decided to take their turn at the franchise but with much ado. With their controversial game play, parents were enraged by Konami buy exposing children to such a suggestive theam. You play a naked Irishman running around and stealing tacos from restaurants. If the player doesn't get enough tacos within the time limit, he becomes violent and set burger resturants on fire.

So that is a brief history of some really bad games that never sold well. Look for them as downloadable games for your X-Box and Wii.

Heh. Although I have a question--_how_, exactly, do the psychic powers relate to the tacos? Do you find them psychically? Move them across the room with your mind, towards your hand/mouth? _Eat_ them psychically, by teleporting them directly into your stomach? Or is it more like you can _sense_ the presence of tacos in the area by becoming one with the Infinite? :P

Ahhh... so much fun stuff to tell you..

1st.. If I can ever figure out GameMaker6, I want to make the Taco-Man game where you get your powers from eating tacos so you can take out evil robot bastards. Kind of like a cross between Berserk, Adventure, and.. well... uhh.. tacos.. lol

2nd... The Celtic Pride one was just a pic I did for a friend because we are Irish... but because I'm obsessed with tacos and the show 24, I wanted merge them together.. lol... Nothing says loving like eating tacos and killing terrorists.. lol...

3rd... Oh yea... As soon as I can get my software to work and find enough time to get back to my vids, I'm all up for your help. I'll let you know when I'm close to getting back to it.. BTW.. Thanks again..

Can't say that I'll dew the dew either. But yes I am a coffee drinker as well over here. Bare mimum 3 16 ounces of thermos size of coffee. Or suppliment at least 1 16-20 ounce of cafe moka in there. And I am one really happy guy. 8-D eyes bulging almost out of the sockets. Looking like I have the small shakes and nearly speaking as fast a squirrel on speed.

getting the huge Cray XT3 fully loaded system out and plugging in the variables. Nodding and listening to Qixx77. as the cray system is hummming at the petaflop speed. as the screen and old style teletype printer spits out the report. I say go for it Qixx77.
