It hasn't for me, unfortunately. I went to the local comic shop today, and despite the owner having ordered copies he didn't get any. So he's going to call me when they come in. I'm kinda bummed out.

And sorry there's nothing on the front page about this yet. I didn't forget . . . I just didn't want to bump the recently posted news item so quickly. I'll put up another news item shortly.

Strange. All new comics ship on Wednesday. Either he didn't actually order it or there is a unusual mishap with his specific location.

Yes and no . . . I got scooped for not posting an announcement, but I did manage to find out the release date about 3 weeks ago.

I think it's part of SLG's contract that they have to do this run in color. But if the contract ever got extended, that's when the change to B&W could happen.

I just got mine today. Seems to be good. But I won't leak out anything until everyone else gets theirs as well. Just something fishy at the end of this book that just does not sit well with me. But it makes sense with the first issue as to why or what had happened.

Hey LurkingHorror! How are you? I picked up my two issues yesterday. I know you appreciate feedback, but don''t want to do an entire review. You know from my earlier comments regarding issue #1 that I really liked #1 and how it seemed dark, moody and non-Pokemon. I thought the art and story build-up were great, etc. Well, based on my issue #1 Pokemon comment, I think you said you were curious about what I'd think later on in the series. Well, here I am! I have to say that I'm not really into the rabbit and other cartoony characters that've been incorporated... and the uncharacteristic things that've gone on in the computer domain in parts of issues 3 and 4. I'm sorry! You probably predicted I'd say this, but they just seem out of place to me. I know that's probably your intent -- to set up for what will be happening in future issues, which will maybe be pretty serious -- and I am wondering what will be happening with all this 'weirdness', but I guess I just get distracted by the rabbit, etc., and wish they weren't part of the story.

Regardless -- Trust me, I'll still be waiting with open arms for issues 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and so on, if they are to be! Thanks for getting these comics to use in the first place. Yeah, I'm getting alot of "Why is there a rabbit in Tron?" from people. Which of course, is exactly what we want. Both from a storytelling perspective and a marketing perspective, we want people to be curious about the why's and where's of the story. Yes, it is incongruous in nature. But it does (in my mind anyway) make sense with both the overall concept of the world and this story. Just not yet. That's the journey of it all.

What's the point of a story without anything to wonder about?

I'm glad you're powering through. This really isn't a story that can be fairly judged in pieces and you're keeping an open mind. Appreciated.

The people that frustrate me are the ones who make up their minds without investigation. The ones who see the cover and shake their heads without opening the book.

We're dealing with a concept where human beings can be shot with a laser and transformed into computer programs. I think there is room for a tremendous number of stories and interpretations. Summary dismissal is never sound.

It's new. And the big convention (which I just returned from) derails all office activity. It's a bit backlogged now. I'm sure they'll get to it soon.

I'm loving the concept so far! Pay no mind to the Purists. I don't need a rehash of the movie in comic form. As much as I love the original movie, the TRON universe could use some fresh perspective and that's what you' re bringing! Keep up the good work!
