Yeah I remember somewhat I don't want to point fingers at anyone I remember in another thread that there was no other tron games coming out. That the last one was the gameboy/box was going to be it. It would be nice to see that coming for the PC and maybe see it on other systems as well. like linux. (Wishful dreaming I know.)

I'm really not sure what to think of this news. I have various conflicting feelings about it. Glad, disappointed, and cynical, all at the same time.
Glad, because any new TRON is good. Bring on the games, comics, toys, novels, and how about that sequel . . .
Disappointed, because so far it's Xbox 360 only.
Cynical, based on BVG's, sorry DI's past track record. But how can they possibly screw this one up, right?
One thing I'm wondering about, is whether this will be a somehow enhanced version or a straight port. Because if it's just a port, I really don't see how this could sell all that well. People have been playing Discs of TRON for free on MAME for years already, so why would they pay for it unless it was enhanced? (That doesn't make it right, but we all know it's been happening.)

Well, with it being the 25th Anniversary of TRON . . . maybe miracles do happen?

Who know TronFAQ we can only see what will come out of this. If it is only for the Xbox 360 then yes I will be disappointed as well over here too. Since I would prefer it would be on the PC as well over here. Maybe even if it was ported over to the other OS like Mac and ubuntu linux. If it is a straigt port it wont be the same. If it is enhenced on what is available I am sure they can do a good job on it. Then it might be different.

Every time I would download "Discs of Tron" for MAME, the ROM image would never work right and therefore I still haven't played it yet.  Unfortunately, I don't own an X-Box 360 but hopefully, I can convince my friend, who does owns one, to buy it for me.  LOL
But, yeah I agree. It should come enhanced or otherwise, why pay it if you already played it?

Well, we did get Discs Of Tron on the GBA release, so this would not actually make me go out and buy an XBOX360.
I dunno... to me this is pretty bland news. Unless as DaveTron says this means DI still is interested in the Tron genre and will release something other than this.
