O.K. a long time ago, I amagined that Tron items/vehicles can't just be a mush of digital matter, so I'm giving my own theory on how the stuff works. THIS IS ONLY MY THEORY, NOT FACT!

First off, the grid, the main thing that vehicles feed their energy off of. You see those lines? That is what the vehicles get their energy from. The grid itself is like a giant fuel source. The lines give off an energy, that fuels the vehicles. Some times, vehicles act differently when placed on a grid. EX, A lightcycle. When on the grid, it moves at 90 degree angles, while off the grid, they move like a normal vehicle.

Next, the most famous of the virtual vehicles, the lightcycle. Like I said before, it moves differently on the grid. That's because it litterally picks the energy off of the grid. You see the front wheel? That picks the energy off of the grid, and converts it. It is then expelled out the back in a trail of blue, red, yellow, orange, purple, green, teal, or other colors. But a little energy is kept for rotating the back wheel of the lightcycle, propelling it in a forward direction. What happens to the energy aftarwards, you say? Well, after the lightcycle trail has turned black and derezzed, it will sink back into the grid and then converted back to normal grid energy. It's the circle, of energyyyy! When off the grid, the lightcycle will feed off of the driver's energy, because they were made for grid only driving. When derezzed, Lightcycles will scatter into bits and eventually evaporate.
Class dissmissed users and programs! Next time I will tackle Recognizers and Tanks.

I like the theory. However, I don't think that any item, person, or being is completely derezzed within the universe. When Byte was "killed" in , he wasn't really killed, but his "Byte"ness was converted back to normal energy.
So when a lightcycle is "derezzed" the energy can't fizzle out because Energy can't be destroyed. So it simply goes back into the computer and awaits the next time it'll be used by the Users, or a program acting on behalf of the Users.
That's how I think of it. Of course this is only my opinion as well, though it is a fact that Energy can't be destroyed, only changed.

Yeah...I have to say, I always kinda wondered how "de-rezzing" actually gets rid of you. I mean...surely programs are only destroyed by being _deleted_, right? Having something done to the actual core code. Is their image that we see in the computer world the same thing as their actual code, or, is that stored somewhere else? Is de-rezzing the visual, anthropomorphized _version_ of deletion--what it "looks like" when you're actually in the computer world--or are those two things still seperate? How would another program--not a User inputting commands, but another ordinary program!--hitting your image with a weapon delete your code?
As you can see, I'm confused... :P
As for the lightcycles moving different when on the grid vs. when off...I figured that they moved that way on the grid because that's the way that game was programmed. That particular area was written with those rules. Then when they broke out of the game, they broke out of the controlling factor and were able to drive the way they wanted.
But that's just me. (shrug)

Tron: how it works, PART 2! Tanks and recognizers edition!
The tanks are a special kind of vehicle, they are one of the only offencive vehicke there is. When not activated, they are in a sharp, pointy state to conserve the energy around them. When activated, they thake on a more round shape. Then the green (or any other color) wheel lights up. Those wheels are capable of picking up energy, and spinning it around the outside, propelling it forward, backward, or any other direction. The chassis is made of a hard digital substance, making them invincible to medium-power outside attack. Next, the Turrent. The turrent is capable of 360 degree turning. It seems like it cannot move up and down, but as displayed in The hit Encom arcade game Space Paranoids, the turrent is capable of aiming up & down. The single, white blast that comes from the turrent is what makes the Tank a force to be reckoned with. The projectile is shot from the turrent with so much force, that it can blast through the very matter that makes the ground that Programs & Users stand on. The blast is made of a hard, rock like matter that is shot out of the turrent by energy. The energy is compressed, moved to the turrent, then expanded to a point where the (ammo?) is blown out of the turrent, ready to cause some damage!
A Recognizer is quite a strange vehicle, it was once the feared watchdog of the MCP, but now they are just formatted to carry tugs of programs to different sectors. Lets start with the Recognizers of 1982. When created, the recognizers made up of old, used grid blocks, shaped to match the parts of the Recognizer, then held together by a strange, magnetic force., that is easly shift able. Lets start with the hovering feature. The Recognizer can hover like magic off the ground like a strange U.F.O. Everything in the grid has 2 types of magnetic energy, positive and negative. The Recognizer has the uniqe function of being able to switch it's energy source. If the Grid around it has positive or negative energy, it switches to positve or negative energy, floating it above the ground. This function is what propels the parts of the Recognizer in an erie way. This energy switching produces a strange humming noise. Recognizers can also ride on solar sailer energy trails.

I think that Kid Radd does a fine job of explaining how the "computer world" works. Did you ever read it? (Good stuff, www.kidradd.com )order abortion pill morning after pill price where to buy abortion pill

O.K, I've had my tea break, now to the stufff, that I do, in this thread, right here.

First, the Solar Sailer. Dispite it's name, it does not use solar energy. It uses Energy in the form of a beam/radiation. The beam, does not actually move the Sailer, it suspends it. Like a string through a straw. One inside the first tube, it diverts the energy into four separate beams, near the sails, and reunited in the back, then to be diverted to it's normal "beamy" status. What propells the sailer is the radiation given off of the beam. It is collected in the sails, pushed up against the beam, shooting it forward. There are two speeds. Normal, and fast. At normal, the sails appeer transparant, letting less radiation to just pass through the sail, but when it's opaque (you can't see through it) all energy is collected into the sails, making it go at full speed. Sometimes, too much radiation is stored in the beam, therefore expanding it. Then cannot pass through the front tube, rendering it usless to any movement. Recognizers can move on the trails, making the very usefull. I guess that's why the've been formatted into tugs now.
Sorry kiddies, just one for today. I'm tired and I need a cup of energy.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

That last post up there (^) was post number 666! Creepy! Glad I got over that!
O.K, I'll be handling both Sarks Carrier & the FCon Cruser, because they basically have the same function, floaty, big, made of basic shapes, that kinda' thing. Well, the Carrier & Cruiser both use the same magnetic function that the Regognizers have (see post & 2). They can be suspended over any terrain, and rely on their own energy. But the biggest function is the function to Derezz the entire ship. The only way to stop the Derezzing is to stop it manually in the main control room. They both feature control decks, derezz chambers, escape pods, and other things. Sarks carrier can hold up to 1,000 programs, while the FCon Cruiser can hold up to 5,000 programs.
