Heh.

I really hate the Mac commercials because it seems that Apple is just being arrogant again like with their "Think Different" ones which grated on my nerves big time. (Are you trying to make me hate you more than Microsoft, Apple?)

Cute spoof-addon though. XP

I think the new Mac ads are genius for who they are directed towards. Mac seems to be acknowledging that if you're not a computer geek and want something easy that looks good and doesn't have many smarts then it's for you. I think they prove their point completely. D

Just count your blessings that you couldn't hear Jeff Goldblum doing voice over for some of those

and incidentally, I really hate those Mac commercials too. Mostly because of the "cut above" image they're trying to cultivate.

The only problem I have with Apple is that if you live in a small town and you own a Mac... you will NEVER find any software for it unless you order online.

I never was a fan of Apple but I do admit that they have made and still make some impressive computers.

I can't say that I'm pro MS, but I'm not against them just because they are a big corporation or because they are copycats. I'm more upset about their strangle-hold on their OSes.

Linux is a very impressive OS but it's hard to find software for it other than what you can find online... however they have made a lot of software with Linux installs. Not bad...abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

You bring up some good points here Qixx I am like you in some ways. But for me call my way to geeky here. For me a computer does a job whether its a mac, IBMPC, linux, Silicon Graphic, Sun Solaris machine. It does not really matter for me. So long I am flexible in learning that particular machine being able to do what I need to do with that machine and thats it. I guess personally I am flexible in that way on the computers in general.

Yes Generally IBM pc and clones are general a lot less expensive than the Mac Or the SGI and Sun Microsystem RISC based computers. And i hav suck with C based machines over here. Globally as for computers for me they are all the same. Does that make any sense???

VROOOOOOOOOMMMM!!!

To compute or not to compute that is the question at hand. Tis nobler to compile in C++ or in TASM.

Poor Jay...

Although I think the Get a Mac adverts are pretty arrogant, they're bloody clever and I find them funny. Especially since the new UK versions are being done by one of my favourite comedy duos - David Mitchell and Robert Webb.

That makes perfect sense and I fully agree. I'm glad that you brought up the learning factor because in all truth that is what it comes down to... if the computer can do the job and how much time is invested in the learning process.

Very good points.
