My viewpoint when considering my age and feelings that relate to it is such.
When I was 23, I had a horrible mid-life crisis (apparently, one of the most common ages for such). By the time I reached 25, I realized how young I had been at 23. Of course, I felt old at 25. Now I look back at 25...
Why waste time feeling old just so you can look back at realize that you were relatively young? you're 30? Think how young that will seem when you're 50. I just jump to the feeling relatively young perspective and apply it to the present. Makes for much more fun.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

To be honest.. I don't think I would like to go back to my YOUTH youth and live it again. Too restrictive and blah blah. I like being an adult, making my own living and doing what I want, when I want.

I'm 32. I was 7 when the movie came out, in the summer of '82 (turned 8 that October) but 17 when _I_ finally saw it, on TV in 1992, so that worked out better. And that's why the Imperial Walkers "scared me" when I saw Empire Strikes Back in the theater--I was like, 5.
It also helps explain the being picked up to reach the controls when I went the arcade as a kid, but that's also partially because I'm just short. :P
I still think of myself as younger than I am, but I found my first grey hair on the day right before my 26th birthday. Considering my job at the time was already making me depressed, as you can imagine, _that_ was a fun day...
Anyway. Yeah.

Me too. I just turned 37 last month. I don't know where the time has gone. And I agree with the others... this thread sure is making me feel old. My oldest boy is older then some of you.

Actually, I've a confession to make. What made me want to see Tron for the first time was the game Tron 2.0 and all the great people on the lightcycle grids therein.

Actually, I've a confession too.
Had Kingdom Hearts 2 not had a TRON world (and if I hadn't seen it years ago), I would not be here in the sector.
Thank god it did, though.
(And thank god Capt_Capacitator had the courage to admit, or I wouldn't have, either. Thanks, Cap!)

Hey - better late than never, right? There are many TRON fans here who did not become TRON fans more than TWO decades after the film came out.
I'm just happy to see that TRON can still make new fans and keep the old ones loving it so long!

I remembered _hearing_ about the movie somewhere in the '80s, at least...not when it was NEW, perhaps, but I know that by the time it came on TV in 1992 I was _already_ at least a bit interested in seeing it. But no, I didn't see it when it was new.
As said before, however, the way the timing did work out was better anyway, though. I was older, knew more about computers and sci-fi, etc. And that part on the Simpsons where nobody would _admit_ to having seen it somewhat irked me! :P I mean, ya know, in a funny way.
I wanna play Kingdom Hearts...but I can't afford to buy any new systems...waaaahh...  Why can't they release those for PC?! Hmph.
