My girlfriend tried like crazy to find one for me for Christmas. No luck. So instead she got my an XBox 360.

I'm curious about the Wii in one major regard. Everyone talks about the different things you can do with the "wiimote". But I have yet to find clear evidence of whether or not I NEED to use this, or if I can play all games with the standard controller instead.

In many ways, I would prefer the standard controller.abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

Agreed. Wiimote only looks like fun in short run, but I'd really get tired easily from using the wiimote so much...

(Still want one because of Super Smash Bros Brawl and that one REQUIRES a standard controller because wiimote controls doesn't work with the game.)abortion pills online http://www.kvicksundscupen.se/template/default.aspx?abortion-questions cytotec abortion

I lost faith with Nintendo when I got an N64. There were some good titles, and they do a good job with stuff... they just target an age range that isn't quite the one I fall into; so it's hard to find games that I like.order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

I loved the Nintendo 64. Still have one hooked up in fact. Zelda. Perfect Dark. Mario Kart. Mario 64. Mario Party. Rogue Squadron. Diddy Kong Racing. Golden Eye. Resident Evil 2. Shadows of the Empire. Quake 2. Mega Man 64. Majora's Mask.

That's just what I still have on my shelf. There were at least 500 games available for the system. Lots of gems to pick through.

My last console was a Genesis. I never owned a SNES. If I buy a Wii, it will be my first console since 1992...

But don't get me wrong, I'm an EMU freak and I'm doing every console from the N64 down to the Atari 2600...

Yup and the Wii has an online database where you can download NES/SNES/N64/Saga Genisis and Amega games via the wireless connector on the Wii console. Currently though there aint many games on there but the original Zelda is on there heehee, But I got all the Zeldas on the gamecube which I can run on the Wii.

Cant wait for a few more classic games to be made available on the Wii. But for now Sonic and R-Type will have to do on line abortion pill misoprostol dose abortion medical abortion pill online

If you find something you like, don't forget to support it with cash.

I love this aspect of the modern consoles. I have a cabinet with my Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, N64, DreamCast, PS1, Game Cube and Xbox 360 ( I just moved the original XBox into my bedroom. I love backwards compatible systems), all wired into a switch box. I'll keep each of these systems hooked up until I reach a point where I no longer play the games I have for them, or those games are available for purchase digitally.

When it comes to MAME, I'm probably one of the very few here who owns the original machines. Me and my brother collect them and Pinball machines. Check out some of our stuff here:

There are more pinball machines listed on the site more than anything... I should take some pics soon and post them here...

Well... let's be fair. Collecting vintage arcade machines isn't really the same thing as supporting a N64 game you like through a cash purchase.abortion pills online abortion questions cytotec abortion

True... But I only have three N64 Roms... Two of them are not emulated well (as to where one doesn't even work), and it's N64... So I'm not loseing sleep over that... It's more of an experiment for me than entertainment. I like testing out new emulators and since I don't have any interest in N64 games to begin with, that will be all I own. If I get a Wii and see a game I might like for their vitural Console then I'll buy it online.

I spent a crap load of money on the Genesis back in the day and still have all my games for that. Same with the NES... So for everything below that in the console dept... I'm not worried about it.

However, my main purpose isn't really for the entertainment value, but for preservation and I never ever distribute.

But just for the record, I'm not into pirated software. As for PC programs (apps and games) I buy. And If I owned a new console then I'll buy those as well. Besides, I'd rather play these games on the consoles themselves just for the nostalgia.

Fair enough. I find it's a difficult line to walk, between digital reproductions (be it games or movies or music or comics) supplanting the legal copies. I'm not going to lie and claim that I'm 100% on the side of the law anyway. I admit, I try things out for free. But if I like them, I try to pay.

But I really didn't mean to come across in an admonishing way. Apologies if I did. I'm having a terrible day and that makes me a bit snippy.

It's ok... I don't tend to read too deep into stuff... but you do have a good point. It is a good ethic to promote that if you acquire something you don't own and like it, then either pay for it or make some sort of purchase to those who had made it.

And I'm not 100% without sin either, but when it comes down to it we have to try to be as noble as we can... and it's not easy..

Cant wait to get some cash, gotta get my hands on the following games:

Golden Axe
R-Type
Sonic
Mario Brothers (original NES version)

Keeping and eye out for any other games comming soon. Has anyone else used the internet on the Wii yet? might post a message on here later from the Wii to see how long it takes to type it (Type I use that word very lightly lol more like point and click). Gonna post my Wii number when I can be bothered to write it down.

Ok for those of you here who have a Wii my console number is

7371 0800 6373 3338

All of the Mii characters on my console are set to Migrate over so keep checking your paraide (if you add me that is lol). Called mine Runtus_GT which is the name I often go by in online games like BF 2142 and stuff.

Yes, I have been online with the Wii and it's awesome. I can watch Homestar Runner and YouTube and check my email with it. However, I used the Wii to write a message on TRON-Sector once, but it took FOREVER to write. Nintendo has to make keyboard for the Wii (in fact, they did make a keyboard for the Famicom back in the '80s)

I'll add you to my friends later and I'll post my Wii friends code as well.

A dirty mind (like mine) could really twist that into a whole other meaning.

Not personally however I did get a silicon glove for the Wii, prevents your hand from sweating (yes I realise this is getting worse as I go on) and stops your controller smashing into your very expensive TV.

I did read that some one broke their expensive HD flat screen TV, its not funny when you think about it. I would have hated to be one of the few people who got their Wii home and then broke their TV.

Its all down to the strap that the controllers come with, however Nintendo are supplying free replacement controller straps all you gotta do is send away for them.

Some people have actually gone ahead and built plexiglass protectors for their HDTVs because of this. o___O

Also of interest, most of the reports about the broken TVs due to the controller state that even after the controller smashed through their TVs, that the controller still worked just fine... WooHoo...

The plexiglass concept sounds like a great idea. I'll keep that in mind.

Rumor has it that Nintendo will be releasing some games from the C64 to their VC. If they do this and it takes, then the Wii could go down in history for being the console that has the largest game library ever.

Nintendo seems to becoming the No-Holds-Bard system when it comes to controller innovation and retro gaming. It's good to see these old games come back into circulation and that Nintendo is responding to their veteran gamers requests.
