I'm kind of in a pissed-off mood.
I've been having trouble with my internet connection since Dec. 24th. Sometimes it works, usually it doesn't. Today, the cable guy is coming over to check it out and wouldn't you know it - it's working just fine! Bet the damn thing craps out again shortly after he leaves.
I've been having a bad technology month.

Todd,
I kinda had the same problem. Turns out my Cable modem was out of date and couldn't handle the cable signal very well anymore. I upgraded the modem and the problem stopped. Not to say that's your problem, but it's something to think about.

Amazingly, I've also been having a similar problem with our wireless router.
Sometimes it won't work, sometimes it will but with a very slow connection, and sometimes it will be connected quite fast, but only for a brief period.
Me and my brother moved it all around the house, bought various phone line extension cables so as to plug it into the internet (no phone sockets upstairs), before giving up and putting it back where it was to begin with. I had a throwaway idea which I knew wouldn't work, but I tried it anyway. I put a piece of tin foil behind the antenna, and lo and behold - it works fine. 
I'm currently feeling sort of so so, but I'm not in a bad mood or anything. I'm experimenting with my Wacom tablet to see what cool stuff I can do with it.

KP, I feel your pain. I lost my favorite dog Betsy when I was younger. We had to get rid of her because she kept chewing her paws. I was so sad I couldn't stop crying. The important thing is to wedge the memory into the lizard-brain part of your mind and let the sadness escape the tailpipe. In other words, you gotta live for now. Not the past.

I finally have the Tron soundtrack on CD! Gone are the days of crackly vinyl, played on a player that plays slightly too fast (play play playing play).
Now, I get the bonus tracks!
Oh, and does anyone remember 'A Giant Face' - a movie I made a while back about me and the MCP? The sequel is almost finished.

I'm a little peeved - I recently broke the FireWire cable for my camera, and the new one I ordered turned up today. However, I think I may also have broken the FireWire port on my camera, as my computer isn't recognising it. My current mood is "slappy".
I say that partly in jest of my recent "slapped silly" Pong-spoof QuickVid, but I also feel like life just kind of slaps me around sometimes and I end up where ever the giant hands of fate smack me.
Oh well. At least I'm not on call right now. Sorry, Boingo_Buzzard. That's got to suck.

I'm swamped. I beat 4 bosses (Sabor Final, Cerberus, Stealth Sneak & Clayton, Clayton & Powerwilds) on Kingdom Hearts today. Can't wait 'till tomorrow. Got me some puppy wuvvin'.

I feel rested. After a week of teaching I am glad to just kick back and relax for a while.
