So that's the celebrity! Here's hoping Santa gets you what you want for Christmas since you were good enough to feature him in a QuickVid.

I don't think he was napping so much as he was probably trying to hold in great pain. I was actually sitting on his knee, believe it or not! (he insisted) I was told that he is actually 97 years old!

 Yeah - it does sound that way, doesn't it! I didn't pick up on that until you mentioned it. I think it's just because he's a really old Santa though. Probably the oldest Santa still actively Santa-ing!

Thanks! We'll do a shout out to all my friends at TRON-Sector soon... that is if I can keep up with the QuickVids. I take them with my phone... which is less than three months old and already giving me trouble. 
If I continue to do QuickVids, I will add an archive section to my website and probably update it each weekend. I think Santa needs to bring me a new phone and a less stingy wireless service provider.

Thanks! I thought Santa would make a great QuickVid bit! Not sure how, or if I'll be able to top that. Nothing like a thirty-something sitting on Santa's knee grinning like an excited little 8 year old! Probably my favorite QuickVid as well.

Thanks! I've been enjoying doing the QuickVids, but not sure how long I can keep them up. Going to try though. And yes, Santa was my "international celebrity".

Thanks! The site is still pretty ugly, but not as bad as before. I really need to find a good web designer to put together something much better looking, functional, and easier to keep up with... and do it for free because I'm broke. So... I guess that's how my website will look for a long time to come.

Yeah. He actually let several adults sit on his lap for photos - telling each of them to have a seat, motioning to his knees. When I got up there, it was no different. He had several kids already and more were waiting - it was a one-shot deal for this video.

I'm not sure. I've never really looked in to the oldest practicing Santa before. I'm sure he's up there though. I mean I bet some of our grandparents could have sat on his lap when they were kids! Well, I squeeze in a TRON-Sector shout-out in to this weekend's QuickVid. That's the good news. The bad news is that it's so quick, you almost miss it if you're not paying attention good enough. Man, sorry about that! I was taking up time of people who were on-duty waiters and had to do this quick. I was afraid of not being able to fit it all in so I really rushed it. Turns out that I had another second or two at the end - DOH! So hard to time these things!

Uh oh! 
I just checked it myself - works fine for me, but isn't that always the way things go.
There was an issue with today's (Friday's) video, but I corrected it by altering the embed code a little. It worked fine from work and home. I just modified the video's embeded size attributes and re-uploaded it. I hope that fixes it.
Were you able to see today's "Meet Grandpa" video earlier today?
Man - I hope it was just an internet hiccup. I'd hate to several people may be getting this error. I'm trying to attract an audience, not give them errors!
Let me know if you have any more problems with it. The embedded QuickTime video thing is pretty straight forward - not much one can do with it (like any other HTML code). I've had trouble with QuickTime videos not being 100% compatible before though. I hope that issue does not arise with my QuickVids.
Bed time for me. Wife just called me to bed.

I love my TRON-Sector friends! That shout-out wasn't a very good one though. I was under the gun and had already screwed up a few times before that take. I want to do a better shout out in a future one.
I was actually out to lunch with the office crew when I did that one. My boss was very generous to treat us all out to a very nice lunch!

Thanks, Sketch. I figured you'd enjoy the Robby Robot (knock-off toy). No self-respecting sci-fi, robot loving nerd should be without one!
Yeah - don't know what was up with that bathroom stall. I took one look at that bathroom and said to myself "ahh - material for my NEXT QuickVid!" Someone actually walked in the bathroom just as I was about to record. I had to wait for him to finish his business and pray he didn't complain to management that some guy with a camera phone was taking video in the bathroom.
I've got another celebrity coming up... sort of. My wife actually laughed when I showed her Friday's QuickVid - usually she just tells me "that's nice dear" and goes about her business. I hope everyone enjoys it.
