^-- your answer. Double soul thing is fusing two powers. Nowhere does it says that Tron would asslimate Megaman.exe. Tron isn't MCP or the Borg. 8D

Well, of course they're going to be biased on a Transformers forum... Megaman's a robot, and so are the Transformers! Over here at Tron-Sector, everyone's neutral and unbiased, and so we can give a fairer response.

Except in this case:
Megaman.exe is not a robot, he is a program.
All other versions of Megaman are robots, yes. (Okay, they're humans in Megaman ZX and possibly carbon-based in Megaman Legends.)

I'd say it's roughly the equivalent of Tron's function.
However, Megaman.exe deals more with viruses... and he is something of an Internet Avatar for Lan, his user/owner.
I first got into the Megaman Battle Network series because of how much the world was similiar to Tron... granted, there is a reason why Megaman.exe and Lan look similiar. (This information is a spoiler so I can't really quite mention it.)

Okay guys, I can't hold this in any longer.
Imagine Lan's school class on a field trip to  , one of the pioneer companys who originaly help create some of the very first netnavis. Somehow, lan gets lost and finds himself in a dimly lit room. He sees a computer and decides to jack in megaman to see if he can find a map of the building. When MegaMan is in, he's suddenly navi-napped by a corruptive program that has just entered the system. The systems control program, recognizing the danger, sees that lan is in the laser targeting area and digitizes him to fight the evil program. With this said, I proudly present my work in progress. It still needs some glowing effects in a few spots and I know the last panel is empty, but I'm sure you'll get the idea.
