I asked Tron-Sectorites about a particular song some time within the past year or so, but I couldn't adequately describe it. Nobody knew what song I was talking about. Someone said they thought my description sounded familiar and they wanted me to let them know if I ever found out, but I can't remember who asked that; and I looked through 75 pages of page threads in "Other Sector" to find my original thread, but couldn't find it.
To refresh memories: I had heard it on Yahoo's Launchcast Radio. I listened to all 8 minutes of it while drawing or something, so I didn't pay much attention to it. The only thing I thought while it was playing was, "Hmm, this is kinda weird... and kinda lame." But I was going by today's standards when I heard it. I was assuming it was made within the past 5 or 10 years. But then I tried to catch the song details right at the very end of the song, but missed everything except that it was made in 1981!! I was like, "Whoa! 1981?? Okay, that was still a strange song, but now I kind've like it" I had some respect for it. I thought about how oriignal it might've been back in 1982 and immediately wanted to hear it again. But alas. I didn't know who did it or what song it was. So I was left saddened for a year. (Okay, saddened is a bit exaggerating, but you know what I mean.)
Well, I have finally solved the mystery. I heard the artist again on Launchcast Radio today and did a search and found out the song I heard back then was "O Superman" by Laurie Anderson!! So I then Youtubed it, and thought some of you might find this song rather mesmerizing, as I do now. Something about it just makes me go into a state of peace; similar to what Tron the movie does to me.
So, check it out. And remember it was 1981:

"Let X=X" is the song I just heard tonight by her. It's weird, but not as weird. On Amazon.com, you can hear previews. The only other songs from the album I might possible like are "Let X=X" and "It Tango", but not as much as "O Superman":
