hello! i uploaded some photos of my costume onto flickr. i had a *very* tight budget and not a lot of time, but i gave it a shot. this was my first attempt, and i did use some creativity with the design, but the end result turned out ok.
it's based on Yori's circuitry pattern, but not an exact copy.. i made a tunic instead of a leotard, used a helmet and knee pads, which her original didn't have... i'm a different program.
possibly, Norton Anti-Virus because i had a rather nasty cold at the time!
more info is in the photo descriptions.

pretty simple, but it still looked pretty good at night!

Whoa - despite all the costumes using glow in the dark paint and electroluminescent wire, that reflective tape makes the costume looks like it's come straight from the movie! It may only work with strong lighting or a flash, but the effect really does look cool!
Great costume too - awesome work!

I think your costume looks great!
I thought the modifications in design worked well too.
That reflective material you used looks awesome when the flash hits it! It looks very close to the color of the circuitry in the film itself!
Yes, nice job. I'll add those to the image gallery in just a moment... but first, there is something very important I must do...

thanks! the best part was when some tourists took my photo (they barely spoke english) and when the girl saw how it "lit up" with the flash she yelped and ran over to show me.. and they all gave me the "thumbs up"

yes! i'm a huge godzilla fan! my kitty is named Minya as well... and i'm currently doing an art project based on godzilla/kaiju "artifacts" and scientific illustration, kinda like someone collected pieces of all the monsters and assembled them in a cabinet.. i hope to have it done in time for a con.. maybe San Diego, next year?
i was mothra another year for halloween. :P

yes! i was amazed how many people knew what it was. i only had one "are you some kind of a stormtrooper?" O_o
...but someone else butted in and then they felt silly. ha!
there were cars slowing down and waving and yelling "Tron!".
pretty awesome. i wore it out on saturday night to an event, and on halloween.
i was really happy how well the tape worked, and the glowing bits showed up well under the black lights at the club i went too.
and thank-you! are your pics on here somewhere too? i'm pretty new, so i should browse the archives...

Pretty nice costume overall, and welcome to the sector btw (bet you're getting tired of reading that ). I have just one minor, compulsory geek nitpick about the picture's descritption, the name of Cindy Morgan's digital character was Yori not Yuri.
