Oh man - I'm sorry I missed this thread. Actually, I caught it at work on break a few weeks back, but been stuck in busier-than-hell mode. And lately been stuck in recover as much data from my failed HD as I can and then sift through all the pieces mode.

I haven't read through the entire thread, but I know a lot of people were not comfortable showing themselves on video. I can understand that.

I was thinking of taking doing very quick micro-interviews with people via my communicator's video feature - I bet I could get some people to say their name and that they're a TRON fan and maybe even say a funny quote from the film. BUT my communicator doesn't take great quality video - I'm sure you've all seen the low-res quality of phone video. I'd use my DV camera, BUT it is a real pain in the butt to lug around (not to mention a very expensive thing to have to keep track of and carry), so I thought that the video-phone thing may be a little easier to pull off. This was just something I thought I could do as I bumped in to people here and there when I'm at work our out somewhere.

If that sounds like something you'd be interested in using, DaveTRON, let me know.

Maybe the next time I do a Weed Killer video (if I do another), I'll make a clip with full visual FX of Weed saying "I am a TRO-TRO-TRO-TRO-TRON fan!" Nothing like a digital personality being a fan of a digital hero, right?

It may be a while before I'm up and running 100% again, this HD recovery thing I'm going through right now has taken a week so far and I’m not even done with JUST the recovery part - I still have to sift through it all after that. BAD hard drive, BAD! But I can still try getting some "I am a TRON fan..." clips in the meantime.

If you announce that you're a Tron fan on your weedkiller video, you should tell people 'if you're a tron fan, too, then go to www. ........ . com' (fill in the blank with the site). And how long can it be? I'll try to keep it on the short side, but it might end up being close to a minute long, I think. Is that too long?

The idea was a series of short clips, nothing long, but do it anyway and I can always edit you!
