All,
I don't know if this is a localized thing, but Best Buy is selling a three pack of 1GB flash drives for $80. They're normally like 70 each. Just thought I'd pass that on if anyone is interested.

Do you know which brand it is Because I am at the Canadian side of best buy right now. ANd I have found only a single 1gb drive itself for $39.99 after mail in rebate.

It's the PNY Attaché. I've had the 128MB one forever and love it, but it's WAY too small now.
The 3 pack is normally $135, but they give you a $55 instant rebate right there in the store.

Costco has this really neat little 8 GB portable USB drive for $99 recently.

I got ya all beat... I got "SanDisk Cruzer Micro 4 gig" memory stick (or flash drive if you purfer) for free. I didn't win it or anthing but it was a gift from a friend of mine. She must have spent $100+ on it.
It came with U3 but I got online and downloaded an uninstaller for it. I would rather keep it simple.
I have some of the old episodes of "Sanford and Son" on it just for giggles. If I can ever find a DVD of "WKRP" or "Night Court", I'll put that on it too....
Ok.. now I got the "WKRP" song stuck in my head.... ahhhhh..

Please explain how the heck a 4 GB memory stick for over $100 beats my 8 GB portable HD that's only slightly larger for $99?  Hmmm?

I got a 512 over here recently and I still have to send in the rebate for it. It would cost me only $25 somthing Canadian. Nice to have around to transport files around. and some free offices suites like open office 2.0.

Was just at Costco. They had a Sandisk Memory Stick Duo 1GB for $35. I definitely can use that for my PSP, so I snagged one. Amazing how memory is coming down in price.
Now, if we could only do the same for gas.....
