Been enjoying exploring this site for a few days now so I thought it only right that I join!
I am a huge fan of TRON. Saw it at the cinema in 1982 and 'rediscovered' it recently when I played the superb TRON 2.0 game.
I then bought the anniversary dvd and found the documentary on the dvd fascinating and appreciate the movie much more now than I did when I was 12.
Learnt about the comic from this site so ordered it and read it this morning! Certainly leaves you wanting more!
I'm a writer and have written for TV and my first novel (fantasy of course!) is out in October.
P.S. Anyone know where I can get Kubrick sets A and B apart from ebay?

Playing through the game again at the moment. I've played a LOT of games over the years (I played the vector graphics deathstar attack Star Wars and the disc TRON game in the arcades!) and I think TRON 2.0 is up there with the best. Sure, some of it is basic FPS stuff but the environments are incredible. I'm surprised it doesn't have a higher profile and there aren't sequels etc. But then I guess if you weren't familiar with the movie there wasn't that thrill of 'wow, I'm actually inside the TRON world!'. I like the fact it's a more ethereal place and more upbeat than a lot of the blood and guts stuff.

I'm pretty sure I read in the 'readme' files of one of the patches that monolith had introduced a 'bypass' of the light cycle levels because some players couldn't get through them.
Didn't need them myself but still derezzed a million times before completing them! Perhaps I was just more persistent!

The only cheat that works on the lightcycle levels is mpmaphole which can skip any of the levels.Soon I will post a thread with all the codes
