Ran into these magazine scans on the net which is from "Intellivision News" that was the "official" fanzine for Intellivision, as the site calls it, that seems to have only ben published up to six issues.
Issue 3, Summer 1982
Take special note in this ad, which shows a TRON II game.
Must have been what Maze-A-Tron was early on.
Issue 4, Winter 1983
Free Tron color foldout poster that came with magazine.
Issue 6, Fall of 1983

Man, does nostalgia really kick in here.
I remember Tron Solar Sailer: first time I ever heard a videogame with continuous theme music. Liked the fact that, when listing the characters in the game, the manual included Flynn, and mentioned that that role was played by you!

Another thought: I've always wondered why the actual game looks different from the preview you see in the pamphlet above.

Sigh... it's a shame that Intellivision programmers use Mattel's gamble on TRON as an example of Mattel Electronics' management's incompetence. Even worse, can you blame them? :-(
Bigger shame: Apparently Disney didn't allow Intellivision Productions to put the TRON games on the Intellivision Lives! or Intellivision Rocks! game collections.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Those're some neat scans you posted, Sketch.
I knew Atari published Atari Age magazine, but I had no idea that Intellivision also published their own magazine. Thanks!order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

I don't know if they ever made any Tron games for the Colecovision... Does anyone know? I have a huge collection of CV roms and didn't find a Tron game there.

Cool find... very nostalgic.
And wow! I didn't know was the first video game based on a movie!?? (Says so at the top of the 5th page.) If true, it's just another example of how revolutionary Tron was for that time.
I'm getting out of here right now, and you guys are invited. -----^ |

Thanks for the scans Sketch! I didn't know about the Issue 3 Summer 1982 before so it looks like the hunt is on ;^). Issue 4 is definitely one of my favorite vintage Tron related magazines. I'd highly recommend it to anyone here on the boards.
Thanks again for taking the time to scan these .

I can say with a fair amount of certainty that no Tron games were made for the CV. Whether or not one was planned is another story but there weren't any available at retail as far as I know.

I believe that you are correct. I have never seen a Tron game when researching the CV game databases online the other night. Also, Coleco didn't really get the rights to most popular Arcade titles except through Nintendo, Williams (I think Bally/Midway/Namco may of did a few for them)... but it's libary mainly cosist of orginal titles.... so far as I can tell.
