First off, neat page Tori . Although I'm not a huge fan of Clockwork Orange I can see why so many find it appealing. Seeing it at age 8 though is flat out scarey .

I don't get MySpace either. It's rather amazing it has taken off like it has. One aspect that keeps me from joining is that there are some old friends I just don't want to see again. I'm sure eveyone has those.

Well...I think that most people use it for a popularity contest type thing. People are annoying. I just add people from forums and school and other people I know and maybe some good bands. I don't get it either, DaveTRON. I'm not sure what the age cut-off limit is between those who get it and thrive on it and those who just scratch their heads... actually, Sketch doesn't get it either. Maybe it's not just age related? Whatever. I don't get it. Interesting phenomenon though.

Tori - I may not really get MySpace, but I can appreciate when people work hard on something and want to show it off. I enjoyed my visit to your MySpace page. Cool to see you've got some TRON-Sector friends there too.

I always thought it was a dating site but I was encouraged by a friend to set up an artist account for the various music projects I've been involved with. It turns out that I made more useful contacts in a month via Myspace then I ever had when I just had a band webpage.

Not sure if I'm reading this correctly. The value "of" a person or "to" a person? For me, the contacts are the most valuable.

I don't pay attention to the ads and haven't had any pop-ups. But, I am using a Mac running Safari so it is really rare to ever get a pop-up.

I'm an old fogie too but I use what works. If the contacts hadn't panned out and it wasn't useful I would have abandoned it. I guess it depends on what you're there for.
