I'm just over in Santa Monica, so I can probably make it, sounds like fun. Do these things usually sell out, should I be concerned about getting tickets ahead of time?

Better yet, ensure a sell-out first... and then at the last second, announce that you'll be doing a live web-cast of the viewing That way we could all sit in our living rooms thousands of miles away and enjoy Tron and the pre-film interviews from the luxury of our own living rooms at the same time you are all there. I/O towers from all across the world would light up and tune into the event. June 7 is a little too short of notice for me *sigh*

Actually, if Lisberger and crew are okay with it, I really do hope someone can have a video camera on a tripod filming them and what they're saying to fans, etc. If not the whole thing, then at least for a few minutes? So we can get a better feel for what it was like there. Just a thought..

I'd order tickets now. If I know who's coming, I will ask the guys if they'd be willing to do a special meet and greet with TRON Sector fans before or after the event. Please make sure to let me know if you are coming for sure.

I'd get tix now if you can. You never know what it will be like that night. El Capitan was 75% full, but a 35mm showing at a place in Santa Monica a few months earlier at midnight on a Friday was sold out. Since this is one night only, I'd prepare in advance.

I do have an old Hi8 camera. I haven't used it since 2002, but I believe it still works. I'll look for it and see. If it still works, I can feed it through my DV camera in to my PC to capture the video.
