This movie "Stay Alive" looks good and really cool.
I saw the preview on TV, so I had to look up the website.

I really like the concept of this movie.
If you die in the game you die for REAL.
kind of reminds me of how the MCP
says: "I want him in the games until he dies playing."

I saw a commercial for it over the weekend. It looked cool, conceptually, but it also looked a lot like your standard teen-horror flick. Did they forget us old folks dig video games still?
If it turns out not to be just another teen-horror flick - someone please post a blurb about it.

This film looks like it could go either way. It could be really good, or really bad. My bet is on really bad. It sounds a bit too much like a rip-off of "The Ring".
But, maybe we'll all be pleasantly surprised?

Previews can be misleading. I thought Star Wars III was going to be a serious kick a** movie based on its trailer and..........
I learned the hard way never to judge a book by its cover.... or a movie by its trailer 
As for this movie... if they put some kind of "twist" on it then it could be good. Otherwise just 2 hours of watching everyone die except for the person you know is not going to die is boring.
That's why I liked the Cube. You never knew who was going to bite it next.

Believe it or not, just weeks before the trailler was released, my sis came up with a very similar idea for her own amature movie. When we saw the trailler, we just laughed.
But anyways, I'm not one for horror films but I do watch them every now and again (Horror manga are an an entirely different story. Now those I will read. Right now, I'm looking for the origional "The Ring" manga. Usually from what I've found with manga gone movies is that sometimes there's a great translation and other times it's rockey. It would also be interesting to see how the origional manga version compairs to the origional Japanese version. But that's just me.) "Stay Alive" does look good though. It actually sorta reminds me of Resident Evil in some way. I think it has to do with the game graphics.

I plan on seeing it this weekend....
but it's pg-13...so it might not be that good.
