I am about 225 posts away from 4,000 posts here at TS.
I want to do something fun to commemorate that event, but I am at a loss.
I have nothing really cool to give anyone.
I figure I will toss it out there to the masses and see what you think a 4,000 posts contest ought to look like. what are your thoughts? Should we even do one?

I agree with MutoidMan on that one..you keep giving out stuff for every 1000 posts you do and you and your wife are gonna be living in a vacant lot at the rate you post

How about... take video of the big event. Yeah, take video of yourself making your 4,000th post, and put it in the file archives. Oh, make sure you do the Rocky jumping up and down victory dance after hitting the "Add This Message" button. Yeah - why not?
It's not exactly a contest prize or anything, but I think it would be fun.
Just a thought.

Yeah, I like the DVD idea. I am going to do a special 2 disc version that can be a prize going forward, and a single disc version that anyone who wants one can request.

It probably was, he's just using his time control ability to hide the fact that he makes 1000 posts a day.
When asked why, he simply replied, 'I thought 1000 a day seemed a bit excessive'. Oh wait, no he didn't.

Doing my imitation of Arnold Horseshack raising my hand in my students chair without the ooh OH's that he does for the attention.(From welcome back Kotter) a single disk set and a 2 disk set of what if I may ask Dave? Is it tron schtuff? or udder schtuff.

It's a 2 DVD set of me singing my favorite arias and celtic funeral music while standing naked covered in butter on a light up disco stage.
What the hell do you think it is man? TRON stuff! Stuff most of you probably havent seen before.

I'm sure all of the Batman episodes are on DVD.
So far, I've only picked up the Batman Movie on DVD. I wish it had more bad guys, but it's still a classic.
