Its funny you should say that, I am going to add some recognizers and the (carls) tank , etc. But I will do a quick test flyby and post it.

This is the first model I have made using the images posted by carl as my reference material. Parts of it are a bit blocky, because I am trying to keep the poly count low, so that it can be used in a game.
I think I will make a 'smoother' version and add it to the i.o. maze to get some authentic looking shots.

Looks great. In fact, it pretty much looks like Carl's, aside from some minute differences and the general way it was rendered.

Those tank shots have really helped me with my flash 2d wireframe... its done now and now I will be coloring it.. once thats done its up to coding and animating!!!
Going forward once i have played with this a little I will start looking into an isometric layout foe the tank and then and interactivity!

I think I'm finally getting over this sinus infection. While I was down I got these two renders finished. The front view is rendering now.

Almost there with the tank.
Thus is the third version of my new tank model, made using the images posted by carl. The(main body) first one was made from simple plane and folded, bent and extruded, but was too faceted around the edges. The second one was made form a 3d box with rounded corners, but did'nt quite work either. This third version is made from a sphere as a starting point and is much better. Hopefuly version four will be just right. The gun and turret have remained pretty much the same from the start.
