After buying the Jeff Bridges version of King Kong for myself recently, I realized that I have a number of favorite films he is in.
Blown Away
The Vanishing
Thunderbolt and Lightfoot
King Kong
Arlington Road
The Big Lebowski
and a little film he did called TRON.
Anyone have other films they recommend?

Starman!
Also, I kind've enjoyed K-PAX and Fisher King, but don't remember much about the Fisher King, so can't say for sure.
It wasn't until the past few years that I realized he was in a few of my favorite movies, too.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Blown Away is one of my personal favorets. It's easy for me to say that because I'm Irish and I have some family still in Ireland (none of them makes bombs or anything like that).
Another one has to be Tucker. It's based on the history of the Tucker moter company. Really great film.
Jeff Bridges is a really great actor. I've seen most of his movies and I'm really surprised that he isn't in more. If I was a director/writer, signing him in for a role would be the first thing I'd do.
The same goes for Cindy Morgan.

I like some of their older stuff. I really enjoyed their 'Joshua Tree' (I think that was the name) album.
Most of the irish music I like is either celtic folk music or Frances Black, but I don't know if she is still making music.

I saw U2 twice this year. I really like them ~
I didn't like their new album at first, but some of the songs really grew on me. I was just curious what you thought. Joshua Tree was so long ago. 'Tis a shame you haven't really taken to their stuff ever since.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

U2 has the opposite effect on me. I like the songs initially, but then they grow to annoy me.
I like music I can find more depth in, where I listen and there is something new I hear each time. U2 doesn't do that for me at all.

LOL, that sucks! Some of their lyrics have gotten a little, well, lame in recent albums for some songs. But I still enjoy them, in general. Bono's kinda losing his voice a little -- or its changed, obviously, since the Joshua Tree days -- from all the cigarettes and concerts, I'm sure. But it's all good. I learn more about why they wrote certain songs and stuff, so for me I gain more understanding over time. At first, all the songs on the album seem the same... then they each gain their own unique personality and sound over time.

Well... U2 Rocks... But a group with the same style called 'The Chior' (their a christain band) sort of caught my ear years ago and I really got big on them.
I have a lot of respect for Bono. I seen him on the O'Riley Factor a few times talking about all the efforts he's doing to fight AIDS in Africa. He has a long history of doing what he believes is right (on a mature level) so I'm very glad to see that in members of bands that I grew up with.
My latest celtic band fav. is 'The Chieftains'. Their Scottish (I think) but we are all celtic cousions.
Try this sometime... Listen to Celtic folk music for a little while and then listen to Blue Grass (seriously), then you'll hear the connection.
Another thing of interest, Matallica re-did an Irish song called 'Whiskey In a Jar'. I have over several versions of it and the Matallica version. All are good but I really like Matallica's version the best... Mainly because I like that style of rock music.
Back to Jeff Bridges....
I'm going to rent Tucker later this week because I really haven't seen the movie in such a long time. To me, it's a really interesting piece of lost American history to my generation and a really good movie. Plus the Tucker moter company did make some really nice cars. My dad owned one for a while when he was a kid only to sell it to a guy who wrecked it. There wasn't really that many made (or at least I'm told) and if you find one, it's going to cost you a fortune.
Sorry for my spelling everybody.

Are you familiar with Thin Lizzy? If you like Metallica's version, then dig into Thin Lizzy and you will get your Celt and Rock dosage pumped up a fair bit. DaveTRON

I might have it on one of my MP3 DVD's (I know, but still)... Buy any chance was it a 70's rock song. If so, I know I have it somewhere....
I'll have to look up the name of the band, but a group out of Ireland several years ago had some of the best celtic folk music posted on MP3.com .... If I can find them again, I'll post the name.... This isn't rock music, but traditional celtic music.... and free mp3s...
