Well, they were protesting the treatment of egg-laying chickens, so I contemplated bringing cartons of eggs with me that night just to be a smart-ass. I'm glad I did not because there were some serious activists in the audience and I'm sure they would have scrambled my egg-lovin' butt!
But boy does KFC sound good right now!
Why did you have to say that? I don't feel like driving all the way to KFC!

Even better - throw eggs at them while you have a chicken leg in your mouth, standing on top of a rubber chicken and a copy of the book "Chicken Little" all while wearing a "No Fat Chicks" t-shirt. Cibo Matto's "I Know My Chicken" rocks out in the background!

Don't worry... if it's anything like my KFC you won't be missing much. Here's the dialogue that happens every time I go to KFC:
"Hi, I'll have a two piece leg and thigh...."
"We're out of thighs"
"Uhm... ok then I'll take a leg meal extra crispy with...."
"Extra crispy is out.. it'll take about 30 minutes to make more"
"OK, then... original recipe?"
"Just ran out"
"Any chicken"?
"No, actually."
"Pot pies?"
"Nope. More like NOT pies"
"Baked beans then? How about 5 side orders of baked beans?"
"Sorry, we ran out. But I can let you lick the spoon we served them with."

Oh man!
There are two KFC's within reasonable driving distance from my residence. One is just take out only, and often has lots of KFF's flying around (Kentucky Frickin' Flies). But they've never been out of anything that I can recall. The other KFC is in a slightly tougher part of town, but has an eat-in dining area, drive-thru, and thick, THICK bulletproof glass that stands between you and the order taker. I can't recall them ever being out of anything either, though I don't go there often.
And once again, I have a total craving for KFC! Feel like getting the original chicken breast & thigh with mashed potato and gravy and biscuits! But it'll have to wait, it's late, and I'm low on cash for the week. BUT - I WILL satisfy my KFC craving before long!
