I know others do this too, so don't lie and say you don't!
I have a Gameboy Advance that is reserved exclusively for playing while on the 'throne'. It's a good place to play certain types of games.
4.5 years ago I started on Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX on my GBA in this fashion. Today, I finally beat the game.
So my questions are thus:
1. What games keep you occupied on the 'throne'?
2. What is the longest a game has taken you to complete in this fashion?
3. What games do you recommend on the GBA to replace my beloved Zelda DX? Tetris is my standby game, but it's getting old. DaveTRON

I like to play Tetris when I'm on the throne.
Only I do it without a Gameboy or any other hand held game.

The daily "Jumble" from the newspaper.

Usually it's over several sessions. Sometimes I don't even get a word, because I move too fast, if you get my drift.

*snip*
I HIGHLY reccommend the Golden Sun games. Awesome RPG's on the GBA, that combine puzzle solving and good old fashioned RPG combat. They actually fall in my top 10 games of all time list. You MUST play them.

Hey Dave, I was thinking. If you're looking for a game that's like Zelda you may want to check out "Sword Of Mana". That was a pretty good one too. It's more like Zelda than the Golden Sun games. The battle system in the Golden Sun games is like Final Fantasy. Sword Of Mana is pretty good too, except the story line is a little confusing in spots. Maybe it's the translation.

Zelda games are quite addictive....
I have the two of them (I think there are only two) for Game Boy Color... and I've won and restarted those games so much...
I think I need to find new games to play.....

i tend to play the GBA versions of the DooM games, but since on those you can only save at the end of a level, i often spend a lot more time in the bathroom than i need to.
i play pokemon Ruby while i'm there as well.i'm determined to get my Regi up to level 100. [i don't really care for pokemon any more, but they're good rpgs]
2. What is the longest a game has taken you to complete in this fashion? |
pokemon has taken me about 2 years [not including off-bog time, ], Doom i have only just got, and doom 2 i have been playing in there for about a year. give or take.

anything that lets you save whenever you want, so you can come back to it next time you need to go.

I hear you can go blind from that...
But seriously... that is one thing about FPS's on the GBA that irritate me. Same thing with Duke Nukem.

I used to play Tron 2.0 Killer App until I got 100%.
Then I switched to Mario 64 DS.
The mini games are great for that extra spare time.where to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

I actually got to level 4 on the Tron emulator on the GBA version last night before my continues ran out. I was somewhat happy with that result. I have a devil of a time on the tank levels with the GBA controls.
Plus I have forgotten all the lightcycle patterns from when I used to play the arcade game 20 years ago
How far has anyone else gotten on the GBA Tron game?

Try this!
TRON GBA Cheat Codes
Unlock Mini Games
On the Press Start Screen press LLLLURDD and then Select (Audio cue should play)
Unlock 100 Upgrade Chips
On the Press Start Screen press RRLLLRRU and then Select (Audio cue should play)
You will see a cheats option in the Pause Menu
This will allow you to access the following:
- Mega Disc/Rod - One Hit
- Invincibility
- Infinite Access Keys - No hacking
- All Power Ups are unlimited
- Play any side as TRON, Mercury or a Grid Bug
You can combine these cheats too! DaveTRON
