hello there name is Gith and I have been a true fan since i saw in the theater open up my small town of Sunnyside Wa in early 83. Read the paperback. By the way this is the first time I have every joined and posted anything on the internet! Been surfing the net almost 10 years now.

Hi, my name is Peripheral Control. I haven't been a TRON fan for very long. A month and three weeks. -Embarrassed.- But I've been secretly watching the forums for the past month but never had the courage to make an account untill now.
I love watching the film as often as I can. And never had the glorious opportunity to play TRON 2.0 but I hope that I'll be able to change that soon.

So, you're not just new to these forums, you're also pretty new to TRON as well? I think that's great! At least you discovered the greatness that is TRON. Sadly, some people never do. I'm not sure how they live like that, but I hear it is possible to go through life without knowing the joy that is TRON.  he he
I'm glad you have the courage to join us here as a member. As you're probably well aware, we're a nerdy bunch who have many things in common in addition to TRON. Sometimes the forums are more active than others, but we always have a great time.
If you do get TRON 2.0 (and you really should), I think you'll discover it's an awesome game! I was glued to it for a long time myself. You can pick it up fairly cheap online these days.

Hey everyone, I'm TRON.dll. You know, the person you've probably never played in TRON 2.0? Still no? Well, being previously uploaded onto the TRON-SECTOR, I have a quick question: For avatar images, can I use an image from my C drive?

You cannot use avatars hosted from your c: drive - they'll only show up properly on your own computer if you do, while the rest of us get the red x. Your customized avatar needs to be hosted on the web somewhere, which it looks like you've already taken care of.
I'm looking to the TRON 2.0 Killer App Mod too! I know the LDSO Team has been hard at work on it for a while now and what I've seen so far looks really cool. Perhaps we'll meet up on the game grid, in our souped up mod light cycles sometime!

About the manual link, the site was down for a couple days whiole the webmaster tweaked some things, which messed other stuff up. I'm not sure of the current status, but ask TronFAQ he'll probably know.
You are one lucky guy to have a girlfriend like that!

You what a WHAT for Christmas?  How frickin' sweet that is! Congrats! Marry that girl! She's totally wife material if she bought you a TRON arcade machine - don't let this one get away. 
About the arcade manual... TRON-Sector is currently only semi-functional. The image and file archives are in a state of non-functionality.  We're hoping the site owner can fix it soon, but he's a busy guy so it may be a while.
In the meantime, you might try contacting DaveTRON. He has a TRON arcade machine and might be able to get you a manual. You can find his contact info on his website:
