I am going to try and start some Java programming and HTML coding and I am looking for decent free web space out there. I had a Tripod account at one time and it became blasted with ads and popups, making anyone visiting my page have a painful experience.
Are there any free web space providers out there that are less intrusive? Otherwise anyone have any cheap hosting providers they are happy with?

You can try these guys here. I don't have an acount set up with them yet. But it looks very promising since you get one ftp account to go with it. Which is better than what I am getting at brinkster over here. Since I hve to manually load 5-20 items at a time . (Which sucks big time) here is a link to them I may have a few others withlarger disk space too I just need to find the other links.

update: Here is the other one which is 3 gig disk space and unlimited bandwidth that I was looking at a long time ago. This is another option to take a look into here as well. The prohosting is like 100 megs and something else.
