Saturn Radio Waves

on Friday, August, 05, 2005 10:15 AM
Okay I was just brousing the NASA website (I know I know but it really interests me). When I came across this sound file. NASA says that they picked up Radio waves comming from Saturn apparently the planet produces these waves and can be picked up by Earth.

Is that for real?

That DOES sound like it's from Forbidden Planet, as Sketch mentioned!

Jeez, if only I knew of this sound a few weeks ago... I would have loved to use a real space sound (or radio interpretation there of) as the flying saucer sound in my recently completed On the Cutting Room Floor of Oblivion video!

Oh... and sorry for the inserted plug there. Couldn't help myself! But it really would have made a cool saucer sound - and even cooler being of real out-of-this-world origin!

Is that really for real? It almost sounds too much like it came from an old sci-fi film!

NASA Wrote:Time on this recording has been compressed, so that 73 seconds corresponds to 27 minutes. Since the frequencies of these emissions are well above the audio frequency range, we have shifted them downward by a factor of 44.

So much for the sounds.

NASA Wrote:
Saturn is a source of intense radio emissions, which have been monitored by the Cassini spacecraft. The radio waves are closely related to the auroras near the poles of the planet. These auroras are similar to Earth's northern and southern lights. This is an audio file of radio emissions from Saturn.

nice. any ghost stories I'm unaware of, with northern lights?

Wow, it does sound a lot like the soundtrack from Forbidden Planet.

Hey, since it's from Saturn, maybe it's the Stone Men from Saturn playing some tunes while they gear up for another invasion of Earth!order abortion pill http://unclejohnsprojects.com/template/default.aspx?morning-after-pill-price where to buy abortion pill

Sure, but it would have to be something completely alien. I would imagine it would have to be able to survive intense storms, live in the air all the time, and deal with incredible pressure.

Not on the Saturn, in the rings. There's probably a giant rock they live on. They could be able to fly, breathe other gasses, but still lay down.

Could that be possible?order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill
