I just saw the new Willy Wonka movie yesterday, and it was GREAT!! Very strange, a little dumb at the ending, but GREAT!!
Johnny Depp is a good Wonka.
Um...but I kinda have to warn you people, I did see about three or four people walk out of the movie...
It might've been too disturbing or something for them...
Not for me!! ==

That's up for me next weekend. Just FYI, the voice that sung the songs in the movie was Danny Elfman, who used to be lead singer of Oingo Boingo.

I really enjoyed it, too!
Although I'll always love the original, it seems destined to me that Tim Burton would make Roald Dahl's story into his own film.
Oompa-Loompas rock and the fact that Danny Elfman was their voice just oozes coolness!
It's a freaky film, but I recommend it!

I saw it opening day. It was pretty funny. I am guessing that Tim Burton likes Johnny Depp because he is doing a voice in Corpse Bride.

Yeah, I pretty much will like anythig that Tim Burton makes. I've seen it all, and most of them are on my favorite movie list....which....is long, warn you, and mostly filled with movies that aren't heard of very often.
I love the origonal....it used to scare me pretty bad when I was younger, though.
And, I want the new soundtrack so I can get this accursed theme song out of my head! ==

I used to be that way until Planet Of The Apes. That movie was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Also I wasn't that big of a fan of Sleepy Hollow or Big Fish. I think the last thing of his I really liked was Mars Attacks!
I am hoping that Charlie and Corpse Bride set me back on the Burton Lovin' Track.

Please, support Mr. Elfman and go out and buy it!

Mars Attacks! owns all!!!!
That is, without a doubt, one of the single funniest movies I've ever watched. Period.
Tom Jones saves the world and has a falcon on his arm while singing "It's Not Unusual" so you know the film is true GREATNESS!!!!

I LOVE MARS ATTACKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Someone I know owns the origonal cards that the movie was based on. He also has a bunch of other cool stuff to look at around his house. LOTS of action figures, but no Tron stuff to be seen....that suprized me the first time I went over there.
Mars Attacks scared me when I first saw it ( I was like....7 or 8 when it came out.) I can't help but laugh at myself whenever the scene that used to scare me shows when I watch it. ==

The idea of having aliens killed by Slim Whitman's "Indian Love Call" I think is the best alien-ridding scenario that has ever been thought up for film.

But, really, the people who walked out during Willy Wonka need to be smacked or something. What did they expect going into a Tim Burton remake??WHAT DID THEY EXPECT?!
I didn't hit them or anything, just laughed as they walked away.
Someone I was with followed the first couple, and came back saying that they both looked undisturbed, but they left close to the beginning.

Oh, really?? That's neat! I was wondering why the music sounded familliar....
I thought it could've been the person who did the new Time Machine soundtrack or something (I was listening to those at the same time...)
It's neat that some popular music person like Danny Elfman or March Mothersbaugh (I have a feeling I spelled that COMPLETELY wrong) can make music for so many things at one time. ==

Danny's career has taken a wild ride. From Pee Wee's Big Adventure up through Wonka, he's done it all.
Starting with Good Will Hunting, his works became less thematic (everyone can hum the Batman theme....) and more written to go along with films.
Wonka is interesting as it has definate roots in a band called "The Mystic Knights Of The Oingo Boingo" which was a theater troupe that he and his brother formed back in the 70's.
If you're interested in Elfman's music, here are some titles I suggest to give you a feel of his range and evolution over time:
1) Beetlejuice
2) Nightbreed
3) Midnight Run
4) Black Beauty
5) Batman
6) Good Will Hunting
7) The Hulk
8) Family Man
9) Wonka
10) Nightmare Before Christmaswhere to buy abortion pill ordering abortion pills to be shipped to house buy abortion pill online

Yeah Danny Elfman is great.
He's my favorite composer of our time.
The music he did for Edward SciccorHands is amazing.
The power of the emtoion in that music, touches my heart everytime... his music is truly powerful.
All his other music is also awesome and breathetaking...
The MCP loves it.
And I have to see the new Wonka Movie also.
I remember seeing it in 3th grade when i was a young kid.
