The new Harry Potter book's out. I just wondered how many of you were reading it and what you thought of it so far...

I'll probably get it.. I don't know about today, but I have read them all so far. However, it's been so long since the last one (or so it seems) that I have kind of forgotten the story somewhat.
Didn't someone die in the last book? I doubt she'd kill of a major character.. it's probably just a minor character.
Anyhoo, don't post any spoilers, nyah?

Rowling should kill off Dumbledore so as to spare us any other actors playing the part. Richard Harris was the one and only. I can't stand this new guy they have. Also, the new director sucks. That is all.order abortion pill abortion pill buy online where to buy abortion pill

Yeah, Richard Harris was the man. Loved him in Unforgiven. I always thought if Ian McKellen hadn't been able to play Gandalf that he would have made a good Gandalf as well. Of course he was in Harry Potter that same year so it would have been a bit of a typecast.
But anyway.. yeah the new guy didn't have the same impact. I'm not sure I all that much grooved on the last film all that much anyway.

Mine's due to arrive on Monday, and I'll be done by Friday. Can't wait.
Also, the major character killed off in Book 5 was Sirius Black.

I am 250 pages in and I already know who the victim is. I am terrified to read how it happens though.

Finally got back. XP I had preordered the book but couldn't get to it due to a surprise out of town trip.
Fortunately, my mom got the book for me.  Gonna read it tonight, yay.

i havn't had a chance to get it, but one of my friends did and has already finished it  . she also ruined the suprise with a 3 word quote, which for the sake of all you people, i will not post, besides i'm just as eager to read this book

I'm 100 pages from the end and I know:
1. Who dies.
2. Who will die in #7.
3. How Voldemort will die.
4. Voldemort's connection to Harry.
Great book, but Volume 7 is going to be a major downer if my theories are correct.

Ok, first, Dumbledore dies in this book. I have not read how yet, but it's obvious from the Chapter 'The Phoenix's Lament' that it's Dumbledore who dies.
Theory 1: Voldemort and Harry are linked because Harry's mom made Harry a Horcrux containing a piece of Voldemort's soul as he killed Harry's dad. That's their link. Harry has a part of Voldemort in him.
Thoery 2: Harry and Voldemort will die together in book 7. I suspect a spectacular moment of self-sacrifice will occur. Harry must be sure Voldemort dies and if part of him is in Harry, Harry must die too.
Theory 3: Despite all evidence to the contrary, Snape will ultimately turn out to be good and will play a pivotal role in the death of Voldemort.
Theory 4: The sword of Godric Gryffindor is the weapon that will do in voldemort because it is the only one of the founder's items not made into a Horcrux.
Theory 5: Harry will kill Draco Malfoy and make a Horcux of a part of his own soul in order to return to life after destroying Voldemort.

I have the Harry Potter book, but haven't read it yet. I've decided that once I finish the newist Artemis Fowl book, I will read the new Harry Potter one. Book Five of Harry Potter made me cry...
